Let's park goal-setting until next week, but while it's fresh in the news, I wanted to talk about the current story surrounding Blake Lively's lawsuit against her It Ends with Us director Justin Baldoni. Not about the case specifically but what it throws up about how women are treated in the media and how quick people are to believe the worst of them. And how even I fell foul of this alleged smear campaign.

I am the first to poo-poo manifestation and all the plinky-plonky performative nonsense that sells itself as 'self help' but I've come to realise that goal-setting, particularly after a challenging 2024 might be a very smart move on my part. But where do I begin..?

I wrote a feature on my Substack last week in response to the BBC investigation, which found that Steven Bartlett's Diary of a CEO podcast was responsible for 'amplifying harmful health information'. The response to that piece has been huge and I've expanded on my thoughts and feelings here.

I wasn't going to talk about this as it's the kind of thing I normally hide away, but something told me this was a story worth sharing...

In this week's Bullet Points, I discuss the Gregg Wallace scandal, a huge topic in the UK this week. I share my thoughts having worked with Gregg previously.
As London is 'crowned' the Phone Theft Capital of Europe, I share how a trip to London changed my perspective and how it has influenced my behaviour in the city.
Finally, I share a useful hack that might help you focus more. Johann Hari and I discussed attention span on the show a while ago and you can listen to that here:

The power of the re-frame is something to explore in this episode of the podcast. I've set the bar quite high for myself in the past, especially professionally, and this year has been about relaxing that tight grip on 'success'. However, it has been a puzzler simply because a lot of the positive steps I've taken to relieve some of that pressure are the things I'd do when I was struggling with depression. In one instance, it allowed me to withdraw from the world, in another it's allowed me to show up as a better version of myself. So what's the difference?
Also in this episode, I ponder whether being too self-aware is a fast-track to anxiety and I lose the pot over the current 'it' body cream.

On this episode, let's talk about how the super short days are making it harder to regulate mood (read: be in a good one!), how the Wicked film press tour is quite the sight to behold and how Black Friday has gone from being a day to a month-long extravaganza. Although, are you actually saving anything by getting involved.

We're pondering two questions this week... Is it ever worth giving feedback and, if so, how? Plus, after a little look in my beauty post bag I ask, should your friends' enemies become your enemies?
Please let me know your thoughts and feelings by emailing me at [email protected], commenting below or subscribing to my Substack.

In this episode I share my 'encounter' with a ch-ugger (charity mugger) on Oxford Street, what it was like inside the Space NK Christmas party, why we shouldn't always get excited about the razzle-dazzle of what's new and exciting and why I might film a What I Eat In A Day Video even though I always said I wouldn't.

In this episode of the podcast, I discuss some feedback on my reaction to Trump's election win in the US, how I'm navigating life without dieting, tracking or weighing myself, how I unintentionally lost a listener and why I've been craving a 'pop of burgundy' for my AW winter wardrobe.
This is the New Look jumper I mentioned.
The & Other Stories one Marina from Wonderskin was wearing.
The M&S one that's also really nice.

Please tell me I'm not alone in having a major dip in confidence when it comes to certain things, in this case, getting my car seen to. Also, I wasn't sure about saying this, but what the hell? It's time to admit that I miss losing weight.
