  • Hillary Allen

Hillary Allen was ranked #1 in the world sky running series when she fell 150 feet off a mountain ridge.

Hillary’s career as an endurance athlete has not been straightforward. Through injury, setbacks, and unexpected challenges, Hillary’s had to re-think what she considers impossible. Early in her career, Hillary earned the nickname “Hillygoat” when she proved her ability to run fast on steep, technical mountain terrain – a style of running known as Skyrunning.

Since then, she has raced all over the world, racking up wins and course records, establishing herself as one of the best mountain ultra runners in the world. In 2017 she had a life-threatening accident, where she fell 150 feet off of a ridge-line during a Skyrace in Tromsø, Norway. She was told she would never run again.

After several years of rehab and recovery, Hillary made a full recovery and returned to elite-level racing, racing some of her longest and most challenging events post-accident. She maintains the belief that ‘your best athletic days are ahead of you if you’re willing to work hard for what you love.’

Hillary also studies and teaches science, using her master's degree in neuroscience and physiology, and structural biology. She is also a trail running coach and a gravel cyclist.

Here to help you finally feel confident, all while breaking free from the stress of dieting, counting, and tracking! Katie is a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN/RD) and founder of Spada Strong Nutrition LLC. For 11 years, her life was completely focused on her career as a competitive synchronized swimmer. She ate, slept, and breathed synchronized swimming. After college, she hung up the goggles and was quickly flooded with questions about her identity after sport.

Even as a “soon-to-be RD”, I was struggling with my nutrition and body image. It’s not easy to go from an elite-level athlete into NARP life after sport (I feel you!). So many changes occur, including how you need to fuel your body and probably how you feel about your body too. I’m here to help!

Based on my proven 5 pillar framework, I help take you from confused and frustrated, to confident and FREE in life after sport! No more questioning what to eat. No more questioning how much to eat. No more staring at your closet with utter frustration! Nope!
