In a remote area of Siberia in June of 1908, there would be a massive explosion. According to most scientists, this explosion was caused by an asteroid that exploded with the power of 250 Hiroshima bombs. This explosion would be spotted around the world and have ripple effects. But at the time, hardly anyone knew it had happened because this area of Siberia was so incredibly remote. It wouldn’t be investigated until years later and scientists still can’t be one hundred percent certain of the cause. In the 1800s, a cemetery in Brunswick, NY opened to the public. The 22 acres were lush and green. Today, the cemetery is abandoned. Beginning in about the 1980s, a wildfire would spread throughout the US, and by the late 90s, to many parts of the world. These were modern day witch trials. A distorted lens of hysteria had taken over, and the end result would be more than 12,000 unsubstantiated cases of Satanic ritualistic abuse. Lives were destroyed by unspeakable rumors and wrongful convictions. Not even Dungeons and Dragons and heavy metal music were safe. Churches were alleging backmasking was being used by rock musicians to put satanic messaging into their music. People were playing their records backwards to see if they were satanic. And to some extent, one could argue this movement still persists today. This is the story of The Satanic Panic.

On October 4, 1978 the body of a young female would be found along a rural road in Lyon County, Iowa. She was badly decomposed, partially clothed, and had been bound with rope. She was labeled a Jane Doe and the case quickly turned cold. She wouldn’t be identified until 28 years later in 2006. There are several times in this episode I say "Casey" unintentionally. I am referring to Shawn CASEY Adkins.
On December 27, 2010, a 13 year old girl of Mitchell County, Texas disappeared. She was last seen leaving her mother’s house to go hang out with a friend. But she never showed up. It wouldn’t be until March 16, 2013 Hailey’s remains were recovered. 8 years later, a man by the name of Shawn Casey Adkins would be arrested for her murder, who at the time of the disappearance had been dating her mother. He was given a prison sentence but recently on June 26, 2023, Shawn Adkins was released due to lack of evidence. Her death would shake Mitchell County and leave her family heartbroken and desperate for answers. So what happened to her? And will there ever be justice?

Today we will be concluding a true crime deep dive into arguably the most famous murder mystery in the history of France.

On April 21, 2011, police would discover the bodies of Agnès Dupont de Ligonnès, her four children Arthur, Thomas, Anne, and Benoît, and their two Labrador dogs buried in the back garden of their family home at 55 Boulevard Schuman in Nantes Loire-Atlantique, France. Agnes's husband, Xavier, was nowhere to be found.
This was a picture perfect family stemming from nobility and Catholicism. They were full of personality and intelligence. They were well known and involved in their community.
But throughout the investigation into these murders, it became apparent to police this family had deep and troubling secrets. In the coming weeks, Xavier would become the prime suspect in murders. He remains missing to this day.
This is the story of the Dupont de Ligonnes family murders.

Well known in Ohio folklore, there are humanoid frog-like creatures that stand at about 4 feet or 1.2 meters tall. According to local legend, they were first spotted around 70 years ago, in May 1955. Sightings by locals led to numerous police reports and would later inspire muscles, books, and more recently, even humorous horror found footage. In 2023, this creature even became the city's mascot. But were these sightings nothing more than a hoax? Was it a case of mistaken identity? Or was it an undiscovered creature? A creature from another dimension? Hours before the shooting, he was involved in the assault of a man named Orlando Anderson, who allegedly had ties to the Crips. This murder case went cold for over 25 years, fueling endless conspiracy theories and speculation about who was really behind his killing... or, if this rapper even died at all. However, in July 2023, a new search warrant was executed in connection to the murder. And now it seems the answers may have been there all along. This is the perplexing story of Tupac Shakur.

We've all thought we've heard something and been mistaken. But what if you were persistently having these experiences? What if the sounds were vivid? Like an actual voice or song? What if you plugged your ears and the noise was coming from inside your head?
This is different from a hearing problem or when some people say there's a narrator in their head. This is just how normal sound sounds to us, except it seems to be coming from inside your head. I'm talking about auditory hallucinations, also known as paracusias.
Within my research into this topic, I also came across something called exploding head syndrome. And do I have some stories to share with you today. These types of experiences can also happen in such a way that the sound appears to come from another room.
For me, the big question is, can this all be explained by science? Or could this have something to do with psychic/medium like abilities? Could this have links to the paranormal? I'll leave that up to you.
Today we will dive into auditory hallucinations.

On the morning of Saturday, March 12, 2011, there would be a startling discovery. The Lululemon Athletica appeared to have been ransacked and in the back would be the brutally beaten body of 30 year old Lululemon employee Jayna Murray. There would also be a survivor, 28 year old Lululemon employee Brittany Norwood. Brittany would tell police after closing, 2 masked men came into the store and savagely beat, assaulted, and murdered Jayna. They also brutally assaulted Brittany, beat and bound her, and left her there to die.
A senseless attack in an affluent and safe neighborhood, and the 2 monsters were still on the loose. It would be a media circus. Brittany and Jayna's families would be left to deal with the trauma and grief. But as investigators looked into the details of the crime, they would make the startling conclusion everything was not as it seemed. This is the story of the Lululemon Murder.
