  • "There's no silver bullet for solving gender equity issues, but creating a culture and language around equity is key. With the right tools and mindset shift, we can make meaningful progress."

In today's episode of PEPTALKS with triiyo, we dive into the crucial topic of gender equity in the workplace with our Founder, Rebecca Grainger,  and Natalie Flynn, CEO of Equidi. Together they talk about the new legislation aimed at closing the gender pay gap and what it means for businesses across Australia.  Discover the insights and strategies to navigate this complex issue and drive meaningful change in your organisation.

    Listen as they discuss:

5:15 Exploring Global Gender Equity Efforts

    9:00 Pay Gap Predictor

10:55 Identifying Factors Behind Gender Pay Gaps in Businesses

15:15 HR Advice for New Legislation

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    It’s coming on 27th February!

Your organisation's gender pay gap to be published on 27 February is the median view of your overall gender pay gap - It's what we call an unadjusted pay gap.

📊 Your published pay gap will be an aggregate view, and does not account for other factors/variables that can be adjusted for (ensuring you've #CheckedYourBias on the way through) e.g. role title, work experience, performance rating, managerial responsibility, etc. In that sense, it can be viewed as a bit of a blunt instrument.

💡 It's still possible for your business to pay equally in like-for-like roles, and overall still have a gender pay gap. This is because the gender pay gap is a measure of diversity.

💻 Whilst the published pay gap will be very useful at the top line, to really understand what's going on in your business, you need to dive deep into data & analytics. With a software solution like equidi - their award winning technology does all this for you - and so much more.

Check out how @equidi can solve your gender pay gap problem, quickly.
