Charlotte & Annabelle are BACK in studio, kicking off with a discussion about what people are REALLY attracted to... Or not. We then hear from two listeners: One of whom ponders why they've been hearing so many people referring to their opposite gender significant other as "partner" (rather than "boyfriend" or "girlfriend"), and another who asks about a hypothetical related to changing last names after marriage! This is a fun one with some pretty nuanced questions, so be sure to listen! :)

I am thrilled to be joined back in studio with Zach & CJ of @ParkedCarTalks , another @OpinionatedMedia podcast! We learn what's new over at Opinionated Media, before diving into a Parked Car Talks-style episode. What do womens' cars say about them? What items or decor in womens' homes are red flags? This week, I'm joined in studio by the queen of millenials herself, Jade Brandt (@itsmejadeb), creator and cohost of the Your Poor Dad Podcast (@yourpoordadpod)... And, yes, I'm a little starstruck! We kick things off by discussing millenial stereotypes and tropes... Were you a Disney Channel or Nickelodeon... or Cartoon Network kid? We first hear from a listener who is put off by an awkward DM slide, and Jade gives all the hot tips on a good DM slide. Next, we hear from a listener who frequently travels for work and wants to adjust his dating strategy... Is his plan the move? What should you do as a frequent business traveler who wants to date? This is a fun episode, so be sure to tune in!

I'm joined back in studio with one of my earliest TikTok friends, JC Cangiano (@techieja / @jace_cangiano), Apple & Tech creator and host of the Wine & Dine Podcast (@winendinepod). We go through the history of how we connected -- JC stitching and roasting my dirty @$$ computer, before diving into some Apple & IPhone hacks and secrets. Next, we get personal... We discuss JC's MtF transition: How it's started, how it's going, the best and worst things about womanhood. JC answers all the silly questions you might be afraid to ask, all with a sick sense of humor and wicked cool Boston accent. I had a blast with this one, it's a fun listen!

This episode, I'm joined in studio by Brittany Husted, a.k.a. @itsbrittanyblue, visiting all the way from Las Vegas, NV. Brittany shares everything you've ever wanted to know about being "childfree" (not to be confused with "childless")... How and when she made the choice, communicating that choice to friends, family and romantic partners, as well as making the choice for permanent birth control. Brittany also helps me answer some questions from childfree listeners... This is a fun one, so be sure to check this episode out!

Charlotte & Annabelle are BACK, kicking off the episode with an old story about a BIG family miscommunication. This segues into an issue one of our listeners is experiencing... She was excited to introduce her new boyfriend to her family, just to receive lukewarm feedback. What gives? Can you fix a bad first impression? This episode also includes: A rant by Charlotte about her disdain for the term "body count" to describe one's sexual history (because it is gross and you don't refer to living people as "bodies"). This is a fun one that gets into the weeds!

This episode, I'm joined by my amazing and hilarious friend, Casey, a lifelong Texan and recently single woman navigating the lesbian dating scene in Austin, TX. Casey answers all of my many questions -- What's with lesbians and "U-Haul"'s? What is a "chapstick lesbian"? Is there a difference between being a "gay woman" and a "lesbian"? We also discuss Casey's coming out journey, and how she's navigated dating and relationships throughout.
PS, if anyone knows Liv for Pasta, Casey says "Sup?"

Charlotte & Annabelle are BACK in studio, answering THREE listener questions! First we get a life update from Annabelle, before diving into the good stuff... What does it actually mean to "lead someone on"? Is it wrong to go on dates when you're not 100% sure you're "ready" to date? What should you do if you spot a friend -- or coworker's -- husband on a dating app? Do you say something, or keep it to yourself? And, also,,, Why TF do people "unmatch" on dating apps once you've exchanged numbers? We dive into all this and more, so tune in!
-
Charlotte & Annabelle are BACK in studio for another sister episode! We first kick things off discussing a recent viral TikTok -- a woman describing single, never married/no kids men between ages 36-39 as "the most out of pocked age demo for men". What are our thoughts on this? Is this a "men" issue, or a "millenial" issue? We next hear from a listener who is very concerned about her date's given name, followed by a male listener who is frustrated by the "If he wanted to, he would" sentiment. Overall, this episode is a fun one!

This episode, Charlotte and Annabelle are joined by Austin comedian and podcast host, Kylie Kaiser (@kylie.kaiser.comedy13)! We discuss her experience on the Kill Tony show, what it's like to date as a female comedian, as well as get her take on a listener's dating issue. Is it ok to multitask on a date? To bring your dog? And is "nicknaming" someone you're dating always a kiss of death? See what we have to say on this episode.

This week, I'm joined in studio by Shelly Ray Crossland (@shamelesslyshelly), an Intimacy & Relationship Therapist Intern AND content creator (Tiktoker & Podcast Host), who uses her platform to discuss a variety of "hard" sex and dating topics. Shelly helps me answer all of the "tough" questions that have come into the mailbag, where I truly needed an expert's opinion -- from a listener who doesn't "like it rough", another who doesn't understand her partner's foot fetish, and another who is uncomfortable with certain types of roleplay. This is a great episode that tackles a lot of tough questions -- be sure to tune in! Note: TW for this episode with topics related to SA/Consent

She returns to tell us about her new hobby -- improv -- and all of her fun adventures around Austin. Charlotte & Annabelle are BACK! This week's recent dating news: A Chicago man is suing 12 anonymous Jane Does, as well as Meta, for doxxing and invasion of privacy due to posts on his local "Are We Dating The Same Guy?" Facebook page. We discuss the case, a look behind the curtain at these groups, and whether or not they're helpful or harmful. We then hear from a listener who asks if "vaping" counts as "smoking" on a dating app, followed by another who asks if it is wrong to expect a response to rejection texts.

Today, I'm joined by two of my close friends -- Husband, "Sound Guy Eric" (the show's sound editor!) & Wife, Bianca Alonso Weiss -- who share their relationship journey and assist with tackling a tough mailbag question. Eric & Bianca share their story of how they met (Spoiler Alert: Hinge! in 2016), their early dates, and eventual marriage. We discuss how they made the choice to move to Austin together for Eric's job, being one anothers' first serious relationship, navigating dating and relationships as an only child (both are!), and family dynamics. We also hear from a listener who fears her situation may have a built-in ending due to her date's background and potential values regarding arranged marriages.

This episode, my good friend Scott Simmons (@wishyouallthebestpod), host of the "Wish You All The Best" podcast (and one of the smartest people I've ever met), joins me in studio. We have a great conversation about men's issues, the benefits of therapy, and how modern dating as a whole is something that we as a species aren't exactly built for. We hear from two male listeners -- one of whom wonders if he needs to be in therapy to be dateable, and another who feels deceived by one of his dating app matches.

We hear from two listeners today, and couldn't be more grateful for Rudy's help and sage words of wisdom in supporting our listeners: One listener will be meeting their new partner's ex and children in the coming weeks, and another seeks guidance about the feeling of "starting over" after the end of a long term relationship.
