RevKess is joined by his new co-host Crow. Crow has been a guest on the channel a couple of times and has been a friend of both RevKess and KaliSara for around a decade. He joins the show to fill the chair left open with KaliSara's recent leave-taking to spend more time with her family and her writing career. We wish her nothing but the best and look forward to having her visit from time to time as her schedule allows - like when book three of her Runespells series come out!
Crow comes to the channel with years of experience as a community leader with the Order of the Red Grail. He is the high priest of ORG and has been active in the Lincoln, NE Pagan community for a number of years. This first episode is spent allowing the listeners to get to know him a bit. With ramblings and musings from both he and RevKess, the show goes everywhere from a basic intro of Crow to a discussion on elder-care with many stops in between.
This is also the first episode recorded in the KZUM Community Radio production studio. A HUGE thank you to KZUM for allowing PMP to use their facilities. We will soon be broadcasting through their podcast stream. Please visit the PMPChannel Facebook for details on that. -
Author and shaman, Barbara Snow, returns to visit with the hosts about Peruvian shamanism. The first half of November, Barbara went on a Pilgrimage from Lake Titicaca to the Sacred Valley of Peru, following the cultural evolution of the Incan culture. She plans to bring us a fascinating conversation about that journey upon this visit.
Barbara is a nonfiction and fiction author as well as an Andean shaman.
(This show was rescheduled from Oct. 15th to accommodate her pilgrimage and allow for our listeners to have the best experience possible.)
Open song: Sacred Fire by Denean from her album Fire PRayer; closing song: Goddess of Letting Go by Mama Gina from her album Goddess Kiss'd. -

Friend and priestess, Judith Laxer returns to the show to talk about eighteen years with Gaia's Temple. Based in the Pacific Northwest, Gaia's Temple has been serving the community for nearly two decades. Judith was a performer before she answered the calling of the Goddess to serve as a priestess to her community. That calling moved her cross country to where she resides now.
Find Gaia's Temple on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Gaias-Temple-120431614651566/
Pagan-Musings is thrilled to have Judith on the show again to talk about her journey and what a little (okay, a lot) of dedication, blood, sweat, and tears can do to build a community. She is also one of the contributors to The Pagan Leadership Anthology, a book that the hosts of PMPChannel are both in. -
RevKess and KaliSara revisit Samhain past again with their 2010 episode of an early celebration. Last week they shared their very first Samhain episode, so why not move on to the next one? The hosts hope you enjoy a reminisce from times gone by.
Barbara Snow was originally scheduled for this week. She has recently moved and her calendar got misplaced along the way. We agreed to reschedule for Dec 3rd when she will visit to talk about her November pilgrimage through the Sacred Valley of Peru.

Hear the difference!
(The originally scheduled program for this date was canceled at the last minute due to scheduling conflicts. The Crew of 42 and Beyond thank you for your understanding and hopes that you check their anthology collection out on Amazon.) -

The hosts hope that you enjoy this replay and will tune in next week for a roundtable with Chandra Trulove Fry and some of the contributors to 42 & Beyond, a space opera anthology in honor of Douglas Adams. Life has gotten busy and complicated for your hosts this season, they hope to be back in full swing with new and live episodes very soon. Later in October they will be joined again by shaman Barbara Snow to talk about Andean shamanism and also a visit with Gaia Temple priestess Judith Laxer.

Cat Chapin Bishop and Amber Moon joined KaliSara and RevKess for this second part of a conversation about abuse, ethics, and consent in the Pagan and Magickal worlds. Building off of the conversation previous with Shauna Aura Knight and Taylor Ellwood, this episode delves into the topic of consent culture. Obviously, something that needs to be discussed again and again until everyone understands it.
The topic of this episode is heavy and triggering. Please be advised.
If you or someone you know is a victim of abuse, please seek help. -
With the scandals in D.C. being on the tip of everyone's tongue, RevKess and KaliSara decided to replay the two-part from 2014 that discusses sexual, mental, and emotional abuse in the magickal world. This first episode featured guests Shauna Aura Knight and Taylor Ellwood, the co-editors of the Pagan Leadership Anthology. Part two will follow.
This episode is very heavy and triggering. Please be advised.
If you or someone you know is a victim of abuse within the Pagan and Magickal communities, please seek help. -
RevKess and KaliSara are joined by authors Lianne Willowmoon and Phillip Shadowdragon, the masterminds behind a unique group write project called Remnants of the Everleigh. Remnants releases Dec. 9, 2018, from Hydra Productions. Combining the idea of roleplaying games with writing, Lianne and her coauthor Phillip have been working with several authors to create this unique steampunk murder mystery. Each main character in the story is written by a different author. Some of them may be joining the conversation at random intervals.
RevKess is one of the contributing authors to the project. This will be Lianne's second visit Pagan-Musings and Phillip's first time on the show. -
Continuing with some replays, RevKess and KaliSara share a show from August 28, 2010. In this classic episode, they discuss what to do after you have learned some of the basics of the Craft. From where to go for more learning on how to create some of your own spells, rituals, and other Craft-y things. This classic is one of the more popular episodes from the last several years of the podcast series. The hosts hope that you enjoy it and gain some new insight.
LIVE shows return on September 17th with Remnants of the Everleigh, a group write project that goes to press in December of 2018. -
End of July 2016, author Assaph Mehr visited with KaliSara and RevKess to talk abouthis book Murder in Abstentia. He's since released his second book in that series, In Numina, summer of 2018. In this rebroadcast we will hear Assaph and your hosts talk about this first book.
a note from the hosts: We apologize for the rebroardcasts. We are taking a short break from live production in order to get a few things settled in our own lives. We'd rather have the rebroadcast over no show. We hope you enjoy and we will be back to live programming very soon. -
Due to unforseen circumstances, Andy Peloquin had to cancel his visit this week. He and his family have recently relocated to Canada and have not gotten totally settled in. RevKess and KaliSara decided to share his first visit with you again.
On August 21, 2016, Andy visited for the first time to talk about what then called the Last Busellari series. He has since rebranded and relaunched that project in combination with the Queen of Thieves books. Following are updated links for Andy and his books. We hope that you enjoy the show! Plagiarism and internet piracy are big in the Pagan blogosphere right now. Heather Greene recently wrote an editorial for The Wild Hunt that addresses the issue. RevKess recently discovered a group on Facebook that shares links to a file share system that contains multiple copyrighted materials. KaliSara and RevKess are both published authors and are very concerned about this trend on the internet. Guest Boudica Foster, also an author, returns to Pagan-Musings to discuss the issues surrounding palgiarism and internet piracy. Boudica is one of the admins for a Facebook group that was established to combat plagiarism and piracy. She will discuss copyright and other legalese that are important to the topic.

The hosts will use personal anecdotes to convey what they mean by magic in the every day and how they have used it to further their own lives.

It is causing the Pagan world to talk (again) about these issues. Listen in to hear what KaliSara and RevKess have to say on this issue and more.
If time allows, they may address the issue of Pagan Standard Time and how it is a detriment to the Pagan world as well. -
Kalisara is once more joined by Diane Morrison, aka Sable Aradia, as we take on how to create spells for creative Pagans. We will be talking about what creative Pagans need to succeed, and how that translates into a spell format.
