“Unashamed of the Chains of Christ”
2nd Timothy 1:15-18
Episode 7
Season 1
Ladies,
Join Brooke and Erin as they work through 2nd Timothy 1:15-18. Just as Paul lost two workers in this book who deserted him while he was in chains for the gospel in prison, the ladies talk on what it means personally with examples of when people deserted them for the faith they have in Christ. Erin and Brooke give personal examples of being persecuted and even abandoned by those who profess Jesus Christ even those who were close to them. The ladies also discuss the refreshment that comes from fellow workers of the gospel, the faithful friends and believers who stand with them and continue to battle the false world ideologies like woke, abortion, lgbtq, and transgender agenda in our generation. They also talk on the great responsibility of being women who train up their children unashamed of the gospel and how they both support their church and husbands as they pastor their churches. This episode will greatly encourage women to be unashamed of the chains of Christ and to look forward to that day when our works will be revealed. Are you standing unashamed? Are you chained to the gospel of Christ and forsaking this world? This is a podcast you won’t want to miss and will want to share with all the women you know.
“You are aware of the fact that all who are in Asia turned away from me, among whom are Phygelus and Hermogenes.
The Lord grant mercy to the house of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chains;
but when he was in Rome, he eagerly searched for me and found me--
the Lord grant to him to find mercy from the Lord on that day--and you know very well what services he rendered at Ephesus.”

Guard the Treasure
Episode 6
Open Hearts Podcast
Season 1
Ladies,
Join Brooke and Erin as they work through 2nd Timothy 1:12-14. They discuss what it means to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, what that means in context of the verse, and what is to be guarded for the day of Christ’s return. The ladies also talk about the treasure entrusted and the attacks we are seeing that are coming from outside as well as inside the church. They talk about the importance of following the pattern of sound words and how Paul exhorted Timothy to hold to the truth and preach Christ Alone. Erin and Brooke talk about being justified by Faith Alone in Christ and not adding to the gospel. They speak on why we are not to be swayed by persuasive arguments and academic knowledge but hold fast to the Word of Truth alone.
“But I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that he is able to guard until that day what has been entrusted to me. Follow the pattern of the sound words that you have heard from me, in the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. By the Holy Spirit who dwells within us, the treasure which has been entrusted to you.” 2 Timothy 1:12-14

Do Not Be Ashamed of the Testimony
Season 1 Episode 5
Join Brooke and Erin as they discuss 2nd Timothy 1:8-11. They discuss how these verses should give us courage to not be ashamed of our testimony in Christ Jesus, what an apostle and teacher is, and how we are to understand the suffering that comes with being a follower of Christ. They discuss what it means to be a prisoner of Jesus and the holy calling we have to look like the Lord and not the world. The ladies give practical ways we are not be ashamed of the faith and how we are to keep ourselves holy and stand against temptation as women, wives, moms, and those who love the Lord. They also talk about the great hope we have in Christ because he abolished death and brought immortality through the light of the gospel and what that should mean to our hearts in this dark time we live in because he is our hope.
‘’Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord or of me His prisoner, but join with me in suffering for the gospel according to the power of God, who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity, but now has been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel, for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle and a teacher.”
