Brad is the Western Region ASA Director and his wife Terra is the Texas ASA Director. They organize and host the largest ASA Am/Am in the area. We wanted to get you some specific information about this event. Have you been thinking about shooting one of the national tour events, but wasn't sure exactly what to expect. This will be the perfect event for you. It is ran just like a Pro/Am. There is a vendor village, food, practice range, team shoots, and so much more. No one can deny that Total Archery Challenges (TAC) events have become a destination spot for archery enthusiast. With the Oklahoma TAC event coming up this month we figured this would be a great time to learn what they are about. Learn the history of where TAC started, what you can expect at an event, vendors, and don't forget the targets.

3D season is in full force here in our state. More and more people are headed outdoors to shoot some foam. We wanted to highlight what the Oklahoma Triple Crown actually is, the shooting rules, location, and dates. You can hear the passion of why they do chose to put in the work to keep archery alive in our state. You may even hear of a new organized shooting group on the horizon. Listen in and see what the excitement is on the Oklahoma Triple Crown. Dates for these shoots will be OKC Gun Club April 6-7, Choctaw Archery May 5-6, Crowder Lake Archery Club May 25-26, and the Triple Crown Championship held at the Oklahoma City Gun Club July 27-28th.

Gayle Steele is the co-owner of Arrowhead Archery in Del City OK along with her husband Jeff. This last weekend She attended the NFAA Indoor Nationals and for the 2nd year in a row set a new indoor record for her class. Talking about this and hew life adventures in archery. She has dedicated herself along with Jeff to this sport. We get not one but two surprise guest on the show.

Chris is a veteran Pro Shooter. So we dive in with his practice routine getting ready for the 3D season. He tells us a little why he chooses his set ups. Neil is excited to ask a fellow Hoyt shooter some questions on cams and bow choices. It was great visiting with Chris and understanding his point of view looking at archery and the direction it's going.

On this show Neil and talk about his recent trip to shoot the season opener on the national ASA tour. We bounce back to the OSAA State 5 spot this weekend and for some crazy reason Neil keeps wanting to talk 3D and outdoors. Our guest this week is Coach Johnny King of the Connors State College Archery Team. They are hosting a ASA qualifier this weekend. Johnny tells us about the coarse and what you can expect, location of the range, then we dive into scholarship programs they offer for instate and out of state kids. Thats not all Neil drops a BOMB and tells us something he has been working on with Johnny for a State level Shooter of the year program for these young shooters in programs like Connors State.

Archery is getting busy here in Oklahoma, we start off recapping the Vegas shoot, then our guest Tim Gregg and his son Easton joins us for some 3D discussions. This weekend is Oklahoma's 2nd ASA State qualifier, after a huge turnout in OKC for the opener. Next we go over gear with Eason and his Vegas game. Tim tells us directions and what to expect this weekend with the upcoming shoot. With a little time left on the clock, Tim tells us about the Shot the 3D Experience coming this summer.

Neil and Myself traveled and shot the Lancaster Shoot off in PA. We both had our wins and losses on this trip. Neil wants to go on the record saying he has officially recanted his stabilizer testimony. He said he admits total ignorance. We need more proof on this. Listen in on for some crazy moments we encountered and also if you plan on attending some things to be aware of.

It was an honor talking with Matt this week. Matt is the reigning champion of the 2023 Lancaster Archery Barebow class. If you have never watched any of the barebow shoot videos you need to stop and do this. This is one of the fasted growing classes in archery. We open the program talking with Andrea Waldridge. Her youth group has organized an indoor youth shooting tour. She will give you the details of that along with the fast approaching Frozen Okie Indoor shoot. Then comes the BIG news. We get to introduce the new ASA Oklahoma Director. It is our very own Neil Cooley. He lays out the steps that ASA has asked him to do. He is working on and with the Facebook pages, shoots, clubs, shooters, and even going to start something new in OK. Chisum Johnson is a member of the Oklahoma Blood Trackers Association. Its DEER SEASON and these guys will be handy ti have in your back pocket. Chisum tells us about the rules for using dogs and what the hunter needs to do when tracking. The OBTA just doesn't allow anyone to be a tracker. They have a certification process, witch is a safety net for them and the hunter. So much information here for the new hunter and old hunter.
