The HSE has confirmed a national outbreak of early infectious syphilis (EIS) in Ireland.
The HSE has said that the majority of cases are reported in males but there is an increase in female cases and in heterosexual transmission.
In this episode Ann spoke to me about the STI Syphilis, symptoms, and how to get tested.

Emily spoke about the many areas to consider around the menopause, including symptoms, treatment, diet and nutrition and emotional and psychological wellbeing. However our focus was sexual wellbeing in menopause.
