This weekend brings back the sunshine for a majority of the region, and temperatures will warm up in response. Friday evening will still be cloudy with areas in northern Minnesota and the Red River Valley seeing occasional snow flurries. These clear on out as we head into a sunny Saturday afternoon. Sunday will also see a big jump in temperatures with 50s and 60s making a return.

Most of the Northland looks to finish up the week on a dry but somewhat breezy note. Sun shines for much of Friday afternoon and clear skies stick around throughout the evening. By Saturday, clouds stay away for most of the morning, but a chance of very light showers does pop up across northern Minnesota and North Dakota by the afternoon. Sunday remains warm with a bit more wind later in the day in some parts.

The first weekend of April continues the wind some of us have been seeing this past week. Saturday brings breezy conditions with a strong east and south east wind throughout the afternoon for most of the region. Temperatures will be mild, but this will not last for long, as our next system brings rain and some mixed precipitation into the area.
-
To the relief of many of us, this weekend will bring much better travel weather compared to last weekends winter storm. We will stil see some light snow pass through on Friday, but these will be light and shouldn't impact travel save for an occasional slick spot. The weekend looks to bring calm and cloudy conditions for most of the region.
-
While Friday and Saturday are seasonal with light winds for most of the region, Sunday will be much different. On Sunday, the wind and snow pick up, making travel difficult. Heavy snow is expected in the Dakotas and parts of Minnesota.
-
This St. Patrick's Day weekend will bring much more wind and colder temperatures into our region. A low pressure system to our north will bring in a west wind for Friday. This gives us one more mild day with highs in the 40s and 50s before winds change direction and come in from the north west bringing into colder air.
-
This weekend brings with it plenty of sunshine for the region and temperatures on the upward swing. For Saturday the only clouds will be in areas of central Minnesota and winds stay very light. Sunday continues our nice weather and the region remains mostly sunny. The winds still stay light, but a slight 10-20 mph breeze kicks up in central and western parts of the Dakotas.

As we kick off the month of March, Saturday looks to stay with some overcast skies in North Dakota and northern parts of Minnesota. Going into Sunday we will be tracking a wave of rain and snow passing through North Dakota and western Minnesota. Southern Minnesota and parts of Wisconsin could see the 70s.
-
Temperatures will rebound after a chilly Friday and of course get well above average once again by Saturday. Conditions as a whole will be partly cloudy to mostly sunny for the afternoon. Sunday we will see a slight dip in temperatures, but still above average.

After a few spots of the region saw fresh snowfall in the middle of the week, warmer weather is on the way to start melting the fresh snow. Friday, the northwest wind will start to turn westerly which will start to warm temperatures in the region. The wind will also settle on Sunday, making it the pick day of the weekend.
-
We go into a snow and rain free weekend after this end of week storm for the region. The last of the snow moves out Friday evening, although some occasional areas of blowing snow could linger. Temperatures also take a hit from last week with many of us dropping back down into the 20s and 30s Saturday afternoon. Sunday looks to diminish the breeze we've been seeing the past couple of days.
-
As we head into the first weekend of February, we are kicking it off on a very mild note. A beautiful afternoon on Friday will be replaced with overcast conditions for most of us this weekend.
-
This weekend will bring more very mild January temperatures to our region as we close out the month. Friday will see more highs in the 30s and the fog back off in parts of the region. Heading into the weekend, we stay rain and snow free as the mild weather continues.
-
The bitter cold is still around on Friday. Wind chills are still a factor on Saturday morning with teens and 20s below zero to kick off the day. Out punching holes to find some fish on the frozen water will be quite cold again for us. Hitting the slopes this weekend will also have the biting cold feel on Saturday. But Sunday is our main transition day from the cold to the mild.
-
Snow will continue into Friday night and stay light. This may lead to snow on the roadways for those heading out and about on Saturday morning. Listen to see how the rest of the weekend shapes up.
-
We'll finish out this work week on a fairly mild note. Temperatures will hit the mid and upper 30s with even some reaching 40 degrees. I'm seeing plenty of sunshine to close out this week as well.
-
This holiday season is looking to bring a weekend system into the midwest for Christmas Eve/Day. While the very fine details are still a day or so away, the general picture is a rain and snow mix for areas of the Dakotas and Minnesota which could result in some slick roads for travel.
-
The weekend is looking to be yet another mild one as we get to the halfway mark of December. Friday will bring the most active weather of the weekend with areas of rain and snow showers through parks of North Dakota and Minnesota. This isn't a storm by any means, but roads could get slick in some spots when these showers pass through.
