Cec is the only parent in our pod group, so she talks about some cool Montsalvat school holiday activities she's been up to. Plus Row shares her V-Line adventures in embroidery with Clever Poppy kits and magnifying glasses. Cec has been binge-watching cockney TV with The Gentlemen, and we enter the Moan Zone of doom - living with low iron.
We find out what a Thunderhead is, and is it as blackly comedic as it appears? We also peel back the velvet curtain on the MTC’s production of ‘Julia’. Finally, we enter an AI Moan Zone and find out that Cec simply cannot pronounce ChatGPT! Bec couldn't join us this week, we miss you and can't wait to have you back.

This week on No Books Book Club, we take a look at the joy of the kindness of strangers, bust open a choc top and indulge in some spooky solo cinema, take a forensic look at art theft on tv, and explore true crime with a twist. And you know we love a moan zone, so we unlock the creaky door for renters.

This week on No Books Book Club, Row (again) brings a book (!) and we get to play with her witchy balls while she tells us all about Thousand Year Old Vampire by Tim Hutchings. We also get the low-down on Beck's speed weed experience, and Cec straps the headphones on and listens to A Very British Cult and The Clearing. Finally, Beck wonders why food shaming female characters in TV is a thing and we have a moan about the existence of the brain worm.

It might quack like a book, and waddle like a book, but H: A Love Story is more immersive than your average duck / book. We read some love letters to the Meredith Music Festival, stick the boot into some of Aidan's questionable fashion choices (not to mention taste in women), and check out some amazing art by RONE. We also enter the Moan Zone and share what's grinding our gears.

We also enter the Moan Zone and share what's grinding our gear, and accidentally swerve into Women's World Cup sexism.
