Listener dilemma:
Dear Niall,
I’m in a tough spot and need advice. My husband and I agreed on having kids when we married, but my feelings have changed. I’ve built a fulfilling life and no longer want children, which has devastated him. Now, he’s questioning our future together.
Can such a fundamental difference be reconciled, or is it a dealbreaker?

Listener dilemma:
Joanne's sister-in-law hosts Christmas dinner every year for 16 people, and this year, she’s asking the 9 adults to pay €30 each. While she understands Christmas is expensive, she and her husband are well-off, and she insists on hosting without letting anyone else help. Joanne's husband thinks she should pay to “keep the peace,” but she feels it’s rude to ask for money after making such a big deal about hosting.
Is she being unreasonable, or should she just pay?

Listener email:
"Ireland has a reputation for problem drinking, especially during the holidays, and I can’t help but think of the consequences rather than any benefits. In fact, I can’t think of a single benefit to drinking. Can anyone give me one cold, hard fact that proves drinking is better in some way? Because I truly don’t think there is one."
