Today, on the Two Mikes, we were lucky enough to have another chance of speaking with
Colonel Richard Black (ret’d) always a sound and incisive voice on the proper conduct of U.S.
foreign policy. Colonel Black is a former Marine fighter pilot and the former chief of the criminal
Law Division at the Pentagon. He also long served as Senator in the upper house of the Virginia
Legislature, and so is also a very sound voice on U.S. domestic politics.
We first spoke about the confirmation of Kash Patel as U.S. Attorney General. Colonel Black said
that Patel has a hard row to hoe as out of 11,000 FBI officers, at least 40-percent had before the
election been assigned to trying to screw around with the lives of Republican activists, suppress
their political voices, and so make them inclined to withdraw from politics. Patel, he said, is
faced with a horribly corrupt and anti-American FBI that has nothing but contempt and disdain
for American Citizens.
Moving on to foreign policy, Colonel Black noted that, in Gaza, The U.S. government is doing
nothing more than trying to evict people who have long lived there, and who have, since
1948, seen their land increasingly and deliberately absorbed by Israel with nearly complete U.S.
backing, and, at times, cheerleading. It is absolutely clear that this proposed eviction of the
Palestinians is squarely powered by hatred for the Palestinians, as there are no Jews living in
Gaza and only about one-percent of the population is Christian. We also have learned that
Biden’s administration was funding al-Qaeda and other Islamist groups in Syria and so paid for
the destruction and removal of Assad’s regime, and warded power to a grotesque group of
organizations who specialize in violence, and especially in the rape of women and young
children.
On the brighter side of foreign policy, Colonel Black said that President Trump deserves great
credit for moving ever closer to ending the war in Ukraine, a war which the media re now
reporting has cost U.S. taxpayers more than $300 billion, much of which seems to have
disappeared into the hands of Zelensky and other gangsters, perhaps including some well-
known American names.
Colonel Black also pointed to the coming showdown in Europe over the issue of the continued
existence of the European Union, which is one the most undemocratic government
executive branches ever created. That branch is appointed not elected. Between all-out support
for the Ukraine War, and the bankrupting amounts spent on combatting the fraud known as
“climatism”, and unlimited and culture-murdering illegal immigration the EU seems intent on
destroying the European section of Western Civilization.
In closing Colonel Mike asked Senator Black if the Republicans can take both houses of the
Virginia legislature in 2025? Senator Black said there is a chance that the party can take back the
House of Delegates, but, on the whole, the Republicans still face a state-wide situation in which
DEI stands deeply entrenched in much of Virginia.

Today, The Two Mikes again welcomed back the excellent investigative reporter Jack Maxey.
Mr. Maxey, listeners will recall, was the first journalist to secure the hard drive from Hunter Biden’s computer, and shared it with a number of senior federal government officials so they could get a handle on the illegalities Hunter and his band of cohorts were up to. Mr. Maxey noted that most of those who received the hard drive never sought to exploit the material on the hard drive.
Our discussion today focused on more current events and particularly Trump’s initial actions and words since the Inauguration. Mr. Maxey said that Trump appeared to be intent on fulfilling his campaign promises, particularly on the issue of illegal immigration. On this issue, though, it seems that sending only 1,500 troops to the border is insufficient. Why not multiple brigades or even divisions to close the border as the border wall is being completed? One reason for this is clearly the fact that so much of the U.S. military is deployed overseas either fighting or being prepared to fight in wars – like those in Ukraine and Israel-Palestine – which are of precisely no interest to the national security of the United States. Making things worse is the fact that additional units of the U.S. military have been sent to Syria to try to control the mess created by the Israeli-Western intelligence services that successfully overthrew Assad’s regime, an operation meant to satisfy Israel’s passion for creating a “Greater Israel”. This foolish action is not likely to do much more than reinvigorate the Islamist guerilla groups that Western governments have been fighting for decades.
Only well-educated Westerners could believe that the Islamists will reliably acquiesce in a pro-Israel Syrian regime. The question also must be asked about how long Netanyahu’s Israel can last, given the divisions created by Netanyahu’s war, the information now leaking out that he removed defense forces from the Gaza border just prior to the Hamas attack of 7 October 2023, and the fact that the United States is now led by a president Netanyahu refused to support during the election. Three other factors seem clear at the start of Trump’s second term: (a.) He still likes to run with billionaires and appoint them to government offices; (b.) He speaks far too often as if he is intending to take America to war with Russia, as well as any place Israel tells him to attack, and (c.) He seems ill-advised if he thinks the scheme to move all of the Palestinians out of Palestine to other Muslim countries has a chance in hell of working.

Today, the Two Mikes were fortunate to host the return of Tom deSabla, an eloquent Libertarian and a talented economist. We discussed the economic troubles that President Trump is inheriting and the problems -- economic and political – his administration will face in trying to solve them. The first problem, obviously, is the federal deficit, which has tripled since 2001.
This problem has become much greater because of the fires – (man-made?) in Los Angeles. This week’s estimates suggest that it will cost at least $275 billion of the taxpayer’s money. Americans have always been profoundly generous in supporting their fellow citizens affected by natural disasters. But this time the relief money needed is unprecedented, and in this case Trump faces not only the deficit problem, but the political and, perhaps, moral issues. The Trump government must identify where the funds will come, and, as important, must arrange a means to deliver the enormous aid required in a way that ensures it is used only to rebuild the burned-out parts of the city. Whether or not the fires were intentionally started, Governor Newsome’s government has definitively proven itself to be a thoroughly profligate, amateurish, and authoritarian organization, and as being incapable of doing even the most necessary of governmental, suppressing crime, providing useful education rather than leftist indoctrination, and, most obviously, making the state’s invaluable forest resources as safe as possible from wildfires. It would be madness for Trump’s government to put $275 million into the hands of Newsome and his gang unless arrangements are for a strict oversight mechanism that ensures the taxpayers’ money is spent for the purposes for which it is intended, and not for the leftist ruination of California which all Americans have been watching Newsome, his party, and their extreme leftist bureaucracy are conducting in the state.
A second major problem for Trump’s government is to reestablish the reputation of the United States as a fair and a non-war-seeking republic. That of course does not mean that America does not protect itself and its genuine national interests. It means that in order to live in a world where America is less detested, Washington must curtail – preferably stop -- interventionist wars, unending sanctions, entangling, useless, and expensive alliances like NATO and the UN, and the overthrowing of legally elected governments. Simply put, the economic world that American leaders built after 1945 no longer exists, and the United States itself is far more disliked – even hated – in the world than ever before. Indeed, the world as a whole recognizes that the U.S. government that the threat posed by China to many areas of the world has been the product of the United States insisting that China be admitted to the World Trade Organization (WTO), with the status of a still “developing country”. After spending seventy years learning how to crush a militarist, murderous, and expansionist USSR, America and many of its Western allies pretended the Cold War never existed and happily enabled China to become a deadly Communist powerhouse on the back of U.S. and Western economic investment.

Wokism is the death wish of the inferior, the unintelligent, and their pawns
Today, The Two Mikes spoke with Dr. Edward Dutton, an anthropologist, journalist, and polymath who lives and works in Finland and produces distinctive books that help to explain the ups and downs that occur during the unfolding of civilizations, as well as their causes. Dr. Dutton said that in the world’s current difficult condition there is a bit of justification for guarded optimism. In essence, the ideologues and practitioners of Wokism are unknowingly doing “God’s work”. So devoid of commonsense and intelligence are these Wokesters that they are, in essence, genetic mutants and are slowly being replaced by highly conservative peoples whose distinguishing characteristics are intelligence and religiosity. Indeed, Woke leaders are easily identified by their lack of truth-telling, their eagerness to revel in a high-level of lawlessness, a their noticeable lack of intelligence, their terror of a fair fight, their passion for being victims, hypocrites, narcissists, as well as for teaching other to be the same, their unending thirst for power, their rabid hatred of religion, and, most recently their eagerness to look after and support other peoples, rather than their own, as well as to pardon people associated with any kind of criminal activity. In short, Wokism is the property and pride of genetically inferior left-wingers who aim to cause civilizational collapse, while operating under the guise of “social justice” to hide their ardent dedication to Social Darwinism.
On the other side of the divide lies conservatives, people who are generally fit (physically and intellectually); self-reliant, courageous, religious, group-oriented – a fundamental part of successful conservatism – and appropriately belligerent. The foregoing traits constitute the basis for surviving the lethal antics and intellectual nonsense advocated by mad left-wingers. American conservatives are especially capable of taking back their country, as they have proven themselves to be one of the world’s foremost examples of a people whose intelligence, belligerence, respect for tradition and their fellows, strong and durable religiosity, and ability to carve a successful civilization out of a wildly dangerous North American wilderness. These conservatives simply have no use for the tenets now cultivating the world’s current and aggressively anti-humanity morass.
Professor Dutton closed by noting that the collapse of civilization for which the left yearns and has worked to cause, may yet come, but it will not come in the lands the Woke have worked so long to destroy. Instead, it will come in the non-Western countries that have followed the lead and ideas of the Wokists and so have prepared themselves for self-destruction.

Today, The Two Mikes spoke with Professor Michael Busler.
Dr. Busler teaches at Stockton University in New Jersey. While Trump is not yet inaugurated, Dr. Busler said that, from an economic perspective, he is “extraordinarily optimistic for the economy going forward.
Dr.Busler said that Trump has correctly targeted energy as a starting point for driving down prices and easing the budget problems of both businesses and consumers. On the business side, energy prices are directly responsible for 8-percent of the GDP, and indirectly contribute 30-percent. Trump, Dr. Busler said, demonstrated he can get the U.S. government out of the way of private enterprise and that his first-term policies provided “opportunities for all”, and ended his term with a national inflation rate of 1.4-percent.
Professor Busler noted that the new Trump administration does face an economic challenge in the refusal of the Federal Reserve chief, Jerome Powell, a person, who over his tenure at the FED, made four serious and economy disrupting errors that insured the decline of the economy and also acted against its recovery. There is no easy answer as Powell and the FED are independent of the three branches of the federal government. The answer to the problem, of course, is to get rid of the Fed altogether – which has periodically savaged the U.S. economy since its creation by a congressional law. The Congress can pass a new law that eliminates the law of 1913 which created the FED. Afterward the administration of the U.S. economy would be handed the U.S. Treasury, where it always should have been. Dr. Busler, however, said that it would not be easy to get the Congress to pass a repeal of the 1913 law, as the FED has built its own sector of powerful supporters and lobbyists.
Finally, Dr. Basler reminded Americans that the Biden Administration’s electrical-vehicle mandates and subsidies have nearly killed the U.S. industry. It is only the U.S. federal government that would provide enormous subsidies and illegal mandates to try to force the Americans to purchase cars that Americans do not want and cannot afford.
Regarding the new Trump Administration. He said he expects to see a revival of the four concepts that made the American economy the envy of the world: (a) individual freedom; (b) individual responsibility; (c) low rates of taxation; and (d) limited government that stays out of the way of private investment and other economic activities.

Today, the Two Mikes and our producer Fadi spoke about the road we have traveled together to reach our 500th podcast.
We reminisced a bit about the past, but mostly discussed how lucky we have been able to speak with so many really good and smart guests, men and women who taught both us and our listeners a lot about how the world really works when you talk to genuinely knowledgeable Americans and Foreigners who love the United States and understand the beauty and worth of the U.S. Constitution.
We have gone toe-to-toe with a couple of our guests on some issues, but only one has ever refused to return. Almost needless to say we talked to that fellow about the events of January 6th, about which he knows a great deal, and we asked him to come back again, a request to which he agreed, but he never answered another of our emails. This fellow – who advertises himself as “Proud Jew” -- must have gotten a call from the ADL or AIPAC ordering him to stop speaking with the two old guys who -- unlike most recent presidents -- believe America is overwhelmingly more important than Israel. You can take it to the bank, that over our 500 podcasts we have encountered a goodly number of this guy’s brethren who will damn and condemn us but will not agree to discuss their gripes on a podcast.

Today, the Two Mikes spoke for the first time with the well-known and much-respected Middle East journalist Ghadi Francis.
Ms. Francis is Lebanese and attended school in southern Lebanon, the area in which Hezbollah is largely based. She said that the West always deceitfully speaks of Hezbollah as a foreign entity in Lebanon., a sort of occupying power. It is not, she explained. Hezbollah is native to Lebanon, and is both a political party and a military organization that defends Lebanon.
Asked if she expected, at long last, that the nearby Arab tyrants would assist Hezbollah and Hamas in their attempt to finish off Israel, Ms. Francis said she did not, as they have no record of being “helpful to the Palestinians” and are clearly only interested in protecting their rule and the support of the United States government. (Ms. Francis certainly is correct about that.) Asked if she saw any chance of lasting peace if the current war with Israel is halted by a ceasefire brokered by the United States and Britain. She inferred that would only happen if Netanyahu approved, and he would only concur if such a deal would allow Israel to continue its now more than 75-year-old program of aggression, which is based on its lust to “harass and dehumanize Palestinians” as well as the theft of land belonging to Palestinians.
On the economic situation in the region, Ms. Francis said that the situation is poor for working people as the cost of most things is increasing and that food is in short supply. Wheat in particular is scarce and probably will remain that way until the war in Ukraine ends and agricultural activities there get back on track and produce wheat that can be exported.

Today, the Two Mikes interviewed Mr. Ken O’Keefe, who is retired a Marine and has long been
involved in campaigns against the U.S. Government’s unending parade of interventionist wars
in which no genuine national security interest is at risk. In our talk, Mr. O’Keefe was especially
focused on the insanity of America supporting Israel’s current murderous war against Palestine its intention to seizure their remaining territory, and its effort to complete longstanding plans for a “Greater Israel”. Mr. O’Keefe noted that, in general terms, U.S. interventionist wars have changed the values of Americans by hardening their attitudes toward tolerating unnecessary and unending wars, and making them nearly forget the hard fact that modern wars – including those of the United States – always kill far more civilians than it does the supposed military enemy. In Israel’s wars, this is especially true because its definition of victory is territorial expansion by stealing the land of the Palestinians and killing of as many of them is possible.
Since 1948, U.S. presidents and the members of both houses of Congress have knowingly
accepted Israel’s bloody modus operandi and assisted its accomplishment with enormous
amounts of taxpayer money and endless supplies of the best U.S.-made arms. By waging these kinds of war, the U.S. Government also has wasted the lives of thousands of Americans soldiers and Marines, and have crippled many more. These wars also have troubled the minds of some our military personnel and the Veterans Administration has been consistently derelict in supplying adequate services to America’s veterans. Indeed, 22 veterans are committing suicide every day.

Today, The Two Mikes interviewed Mr. Harry Elliff, an American expatriate now living in Southeast Asia. Mr. Elliff is a U.S. military veteran. He was badly wounded in Iraq and left the military. Now an expat, Mr. Elliff converted to Islam and is now married. He has a rather somber view of the future of the United States; indeed, he believes the republic is in its death throes. As a cause, Mr. Elliff focuses on our many unnecessary and always-lost wars, and that is a hard assertion to argue against. Mr. Elliff also presented some interesting views about America’s problems from the perspective of an American living abroad.

A Man Before His Time: Ron Paul
Today, The Two Mikes were extremely fortunate to have the chance to speak with Dr. Ron Paul about the importance of maintaining liberty in America, and the increasingly desperate need to base U.S. foreign policy on non-intervention. -
Today, The Two Mikes had the pleasure of talking with Tom DiLorenzo, who is now President
of the Mises Institute for Austrian Economics (https://mises.org/) in Auburn, Alabama. The
The institute is named after Ludwig van Mises, who was one of the most notable economists and
social philosophers of the 20th Century. Before becoming the president of the Institute, Dr. DiLorenzo was a longtime university professor in the field of economics. He has written several
books on economics and three outstanding, persuasive, and marvelously controversial,
Revisionist Histories of Abraham Lincoln: The Real Lincoln: A New Look at Abraham Lincoln, His
Agenda, and an Unnecessary War; Lincoln Unmasked: What You’re Not Supposed to Know
About Dishonest Abe; and The Problem with Lincoln.
Dr. DiLorenzo is a determined opponent of the over-sized and power-grabbing nature of the
federal government, and especially of its non-stop and detrimental interference of the U.S.
government in the American society. In essence, Dr. DiLorenzo explained the U.S. government,
in 1913, turned over sole control of the U.S. economy and currency to the “independent”
Federal Reserve System (The FED), and since then it – and neither the elected members of the
Congress or the U.S. Treasury – has exercised that control, much to the republic’s detriment. -
Today, The Two Mikes spoke with Luis Quinonez, who is a U.S. military veteran and is now
serving as President Trump’s Latino Outreach Adviser. Each of the issues we covered in today’s
program are worth a close and complete listen from any American who is eager to protect our
republic and the American dream. Among the topics we discussed were: (a) The complete
incompetence of Kamala Harris and the many lethal threats she and her party would pose to
America if she becomes president; (b) The utter disgrace presented by DHS Secretary Mayorkas
in failing to provide quick and effective relief to the families who lost loved ones, homes, farms,
and virtually all they owned to Hurricane Helene. Making the DHS failure worse – and making it
look like the federal government’s intention was to ensure as many Americans as possible died
– is the reporting that now indicates that DHS’s claim to have no money to help the hurricane
victims was a lie and that up to $7 billion dollars was available for use in emergency rescue
operation in the southeastern states; (c) The self-defeating nature of those groups of American
Christians who now say they won’t vote for Trump because of his wife’s view of abortion. Both
of the Mikes are resolutely opposed to abortion – which has murdered more than 62 million
Americans – but to not vote in this election because of something Mrs. Trump wrote is
madness. If Trump is not elected, abortions will increase, perhaps greatly; the repression of the
Christian faith will increase, as it has under every administration since Clinton’s, with the
exception of Trump’s first term. For Christians, voting against Trump or sitting out the election
means two sure things. If Trump is defeated, there will be more federal-government war
against Christianity, and the American republic will be replaced in full by a godless and
murderous tyranny. -
Today on the Two Mikes, Colonel Mike and Dr. Mike spoke with a fine young Middle East reporter, who goes by the aka “Syrian Girl”, who has been reporting on the regions since she first began covering the U.S-caused civil war in Syria. The bulk of our conversations focused on the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas, and what appears to be the unique situation that the Arab World faces in regard to the war. Generally, in these periodic Israel-Palestine wars, a cease-fire is agreed on by the two parties just as soon as Israel has won what they wanted when the war started. So far in the current war, however, there has been no cease-fire, and in this war Israel has been subjected to a drubbing the likes of which it has not have previously experienced. With Hamas now fighting alongside Hezbollah, the Lebanese army, the Houthis, Iran, and volunteer Islamist insurgents from Iraq and elsewhere against Israel, the latter is looking increasingly damaged as a nation state. We all thought this situation looks like the Arabs’ first opportunity to decide how the war ends. As always, the ball is in the court of the major Arab and Muslim governments – Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the Gulf states, Turkey, etc. -- all of whom are now armed to the teeth by the United States, China, and Russia. Will the Arab states take up the task of acting with those who are now acting in a way that is pushing forward their longtime goal of ending what they see as Israel’s threat to Muslims? Given those states’ long-term avoidance of taking a risk in the Palestine-Israel struggle, the odds seem to be likely that those Muslim states will again side with their own power and safety and not with the region’s people have long sought.

Today, The Two Mikes welcomed back Chad Stewart, the author of the Britfield series of novels -- and soon movies -- for middle-schoolers.
Mr. Stewart reported that the fourth book in his series -- titled Britfield and the Eastern Empire -- will be published in 2025, just as the lead characters -- Tom and Sarah -- reach age 15 and are learning the pros and cons of modernity as they are found in such things as AI and digital currencies.
The first installment of seven Britfield movies also is scheduled to go into pre-production in November, 2026. Mr. Stewart noted that the movie will be set in the Christmas season. Mr. Stewart also said that the first three books in the series continue to do very well, and began to be published in Britain in June 2024. - Visa fler
