This is an opportunity for leaders to understand how mental health impacts their employees, and to use communication to reduce the stigma of mental illness and increase access to resources.

Edythe Richards is a practitioner and avid user of both the Myers-Briggs and Emotional Intelligence 2.0 assessments. A common question relates to the correlation between these 2 instruments, and that’s what today’s episode is about.
The first portion of this podcast will address the Myers-Briggs assessment, explain what it measures, and provide a brief introduction to the 4 dichotomies.
The second portion explains the Emotional Intelligence 2.0 – or EQ assessment, which is the Reuven Bar-On model, and what it measures.
The third and final portion links the Myers-Briggs dichotomies to the elements of Emotional Intelligence where applicable.

Nature vs. nurture is one of the oldest debates in the field of psychology. Recent studies indicate that personality is more nuanced and complex than previously believed, and personality can – and does – change over time. Is this because that we humans have the collective experiences of our ancestors merged into our genes, or is it because of our environments – our culture, religion, or childhood interactions? Tune in to hear Edythe and David weigh in.
