  • Multi-platinum, 5x GRAMMY-nominated artist 6LACK brings Devon some commonly misheard lyrics to the show this week, speaks on Future’s talent, battle rapping, and when Lebron James messed up his lyrics on IG stories.

Multi-platinum, 5x GRAMMY-nominated artist 6LACK brings Devon some commonly misheard lyrics to the show this week, speaks on Future’s talent, battle rapping, and when Lebron James messed up his lyrics on IG stories.

Pronounced “Black,” the five-time GRAMMY-nominated and multi-platinum-selling artist has spent the last decade defining the sound and spirit of a generation through his deeply introspective, genre-bending artistry. Born and raised in Zone 6 of Atlanta, 6LACK first broke onto the scene with his 2016 debut FREE 6LACK, introducing the world to his unmistakable blend of melodic vulnerability, sharp lyricism, and atmospheric production. He solidified his place as one of music’s most compelling voices with his critically acclaimed sophomore album East Atlanta Love Letter, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart and peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200.

Since then, 6LACK has amassed more than 8 billion global streams while delivering some of the most impactful records of the past decade through collaborations with artists including J. Cole, Future, Selena Gomez, Young Thug, Timbaland, Normani, Isaiah Rashad, Rita Ora, Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Baby, Khalid, Jessie Reyez, Nao, and more. His massive collaboration with Lil Tjay, “Calling My Phone,” earned No. 1 spots on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts while reaching No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and achieving platinum status.

Most recently, 6LACK ushered in a bold new era with the release of his latest album, Love Is The New Gangsta — a deeply personal and evolved body of work centered around growth, healing, fatherhood, and emotional transparency. Expanding on the alternative R&B foundation that made him a standout voice, the project showcases an artist continuing to push boundaries while remaining rooted in honesty, vulnerability, and timeless storytelling.

Billboard Rookie of the Month and 2024 XXL Freshman Cash Cobain is a multi-hyphenate rapper and producer known as the originator of "sample drill", a sound that has transformed the identity of the genre in NYC by introducing 90s R&B, 2000s pop, and even gospel through his impeccable ear for chopping up recognizable samples and placing them over bouncy production. Cobain has been on a landmark “slizzy summer” single run with the Ice Spice-assisted "Fisherrr" (feat. BaySwag) (77M Streams), whom he opened for on her Y2K! World Tour, “Grippy” (19M Streams) with J. Cole, and “Rump Punch” (37M Streams). In June, Cobain secured his Billboard Hot 100 debut with Don Toliver's new single "Attitude" alongside Charlie Wilson (163M Streams), following a career-minting 2024 that saw him release his critically-acclaimed sophomore album Play Cash Cobain. Previously we also saw Cobain produce Drake's "Calling For You" (feat. 21 Savage), which debuted at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100, and PinkPantheress' "Nice To Meet You" (feat. Central Cee), which debuted at #20 on the Billboard Hot 100 . Cobain’s reach has spanned well beyond NYC, with his style of reinventing samples crossing the pond to the UK on the production for Central Cee's 2024 COLORS track, "One By One". In 2024, he also made his Billboard Hot 100 debut alongside Charlie Wilson on Don Toliver's new single "Attitude" (163M Streams), appeared on A Boogie Wit da Hoodie’s “Body”, and produced Lancey Foux’s "Daylight" (feat.
