Hello everyone!
In this episode, I meet with some of my closest mates that I've known for quite a while; Mr. Armand Mr. Ilai and Apit Kelly. Being with me since the start of our tertiary education music program, we talk about where we started before we met, how it's going so far now that we've known each other for about a decade, and what's our plan moving from here onward. An episode filled with less research and philosophical questions in our fields, and instead focusing on our personal stories, check out this unique episode of how we all collectively feed off each others' energy on our own personal paths.

Hello everyone!
In this episode, I meet again with Ms. Qisthina MK. With both of us working at the same place but in different branches, Qisthina shared about the process of a songwriters' journey from composing a song, registering it, and collecting the royalties gained from it. This was followed by her comments on the process, as well as how it translates to both music people and non-music people alike, something that is not really entirely spoken of in the music industry today.

From wireless vs wired headphones, HiFi to LoFi music, and the usage of electronic music instruments, this is one episode that music people would certainly want to tune in to.

Hello everyone!
In this episode, I talked about my personally favourite field in the music industry, the therapy side, with Ms. Lee Kai Ming. Despite being a music graduate in said field, we looked into her approach and reasoning behind utilizing creative arts therapy for a wide gamut of population, not specifically focusing on music therapy but rather integrating different strands into her well-honed accumulated skills.

Hello everyone!
In this episode, we had a discussion that tapped into Mr. Armand Malik's experience in the jazz field and Ms. Qisthina MK's knowledge in the mainstream music industry. In this little back and forth, we looked into one possible concept of why jazz cannot be officially considered as mainstream music, and looked into the possible scenarios that may overcome that hurdle.

Hello everyone!
For the first time ever, we went into a group discussion with 3 heads instead of 2. Along with my favourite research buddy, Mr. Chan Long, was my co-worker, Ms. Qisthina MK. As he had the knack for societal music research, and she on the other hand favours the findings of mainstream and popular music, we had multiple back and forths pertaining to how they affected each other. With the main question being "does music shape the society, or vice versa?", many different aspects were discussed in this intense session.

Hello everyone!
In this episode, I had an amazing and interesting discussion with my go-to research buddy, Mr. Chan Long, about music during different eras and tapped into a study of music futurology. For those that may not know, futurology is the "study of the future" in making evidence-based assumptions based on past trends of said topic. From the birth of what is considered "music" all the way till the ones we hear today, we try to predict where the next evolution of music will lead to in the not-so-distant future.

Hello everyone!
In this episode, I spent some time delving into the different perspectives of the Singaporean tertiary educational institute with a friend that I made some years ago, Ms. Zoey Hong. As someone who was from a Malaysian music learning institute and now learning in Singapore's Yong Siew Toh (YST) Conservatory of Music, we managed to look in depth about the different learning styles, mindsets in approaching the performing arts and the different manners of thinking non-performance-based musical fields between Malaysia and Singapore.

Hello everyone!
In this new season, I had a conversational discussion with my pal, Haziq Muhyidin. For these past 6 months, we collaborated on a community project called "Music Painting: Artistic Expression through Percussion and Singing" that was carried out amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Hear about our struggles and successful attempts at carrying out the activities in this week's episode, as Haziq (the project leader) gave his valuable opinion that may help those interested in their own endeavors.
