This week, we welcome back Ted Thomas to discuss his 2009 documentary "Walt and El Grupo", an account of Walt Disney's Goodwill Tour of South America in 1941. Ted tells us all about his experience producing the film and how it lead so many new discoveries, he is now releasing a 230-page follow up book, "Walt and El Grupo In Latin America", with co-authors Didier Ghez and JB Kaufman. This hardcover monograph is published by the Hyperion Historical Alliance, which will have a booth set up for book signings at the upcoming 2024 D23 Expo in Anaheim, following the authors' panel.
