Karen and Robby welcome back Australian Eventer, Kate Chadderton! Kate was episode #33 back in November 2018 and a lot has happened since then. Kate got married, had her daughter Mia and moved to Cochranville, PA where her and her husband bought their farm Durunda Farm. Kate shares some of her fun stories of growing up in Australia and how she is going through the ECP Program and getting ready for her Eventing Immersion Academy which will be held at her farm this summer. We had so much fun catching up with Kate and we hope you all laugh as much as we did.

Karen and Robby get to know 3* Rider, Megan Loughnane. Megan shares her story of riding with Susie Beale and Kelly Prather and now with Caitlin Silliman. Megan just recently graduated from University of Virginia with a degree in Architectural History all while having her 2 horses with her and competing at the upper levels. Megan was driving to her parents home during the interview to get ready to head out to Bromont the next day. We also learned Megan did not know who made the US Eventing Olympic Team (but we did) and asked for her prediction of the team. We hope you enjoy getting to know Megan as much as we did!

Karen and Robby get to know 4* Eventer, Rachel Lawson. Rachel shares her story of growing up never knowing what Eventing was and just wanted to jump and go fast. It wasn't until she was 17 y/o that she saw a magazine with Karen O'Connor with Theodore O'Connor that she discovered Eventing and knew right there that is what she wanted to do. Rachel now runs her well rounded equestrian business in Boyce, Virginia. We had so much fun talking with Rachel that we are still laughing about some of her stories and we hope you do too!

Karen and Robby get to know Canadian 4* Eventer, Katie Malensek. Not only does Katie ride at the upper levels and has represented Canada at the Nations Cup in Belgium but she is also a full time veterinarian! Katie and her husband now live at their farm in Florida not far from the beach so he can surf and close to Katie's office. Karen and Robby welcome Irish Advanced Eventer, Michael Nolan. Michael shares his story of growing up in Ireland not wanting to ride horses. He ended up joining Pony Club, showing ponies in the jumpers and then riding steeplechase race horses. Later, he met Robin Walker and came to the US where he eventually met his wife McKena. Michael and McKena started Nolan Sporthorses where they take in young horses for training and give lessons. Michael also gave his predicted Kentucky 5* winner prediction - was he correct? Karen and Robby get to know 4* Eventer, Alexa Thompson. Alexa shares her story of growing up in Texas and then getting to ride with Mike Huber. Later, Alexa decided to go to University of Kentucky to become a nurse while running a 100 acre farm that her parents bought for her. Alexa talks about how she struggled working nights as an ICU nurse and competing at the upper levels. After 3 years of nursing, she decided to become a full time rider. Alexa still runs her Clear View Farm in Lexington, KY and is competing a couple of her homebreds at the upper levels. Karen and Robby welcome back 3* Eventer, Olivia Miller! Olivia was part of the Young Adult Rider Roundtable back in July 2022 and she has recently launched her new website. Olivia shares her story of coming from a non-horsey family and going to pony camp in Washington State then joining a Vaulting team. After 3 years of Vaulting, Olivia decided she wanted to ride and later became a Working Student for Tamie Smith and then Sharon White. Now, Olivia is a Working Student for Woods Baughman and is making time to teach lessons and take horses in for training. We even put Olivia on the spot with her prediction of who will be on the US Eventing Team for Paris! Will she be correct?!

Karen and Robby get to know 4* Eventer, Samantha Tinney. Samantha grew up in Dallas, TX playing soccer most of her life and decided to take a riding lesson at the age of 14. Two years later she was competing at the YR Championships and hasn't looked back since. After a bad fall, she then spent time with the O'Connor's where Karen helped Samantha get back to competing. Samantha is a talented young professional with a bright future ahead!

Karen and Robby get to know former 5* rider, Lellie Ward. Lellie shares her amazing stories of all of the top riders she grew up being around, from Tadd Coffin and Torrence Watkins to William Steinkraus - just to name a few. Karen and Robby get to know Canadian Eventer, Bradley Champagne. Brad is a previous guest from episode #25 with the Windurra Crew. Brad shares his story of growing up in Canada and spending a winter in Ocala, Fl with Karl Slezak. Brad eventually became a rider for Boyd Martin and found his calling of breaking and training the young horses and getting them to the YEH Championships.
