  • Have you ever found yourself defining your personality by saying what you can’t do? 

    “I’m not a morning person.” 
    “I can’t function without coffee.”
    “I’m not a runner.”

    Are you ‘not a morning person’ because you ‘can’t be one’ or is it because you don’t want to be?
    Are you ‘not a runner’, or have you simply not equipped yourself with the right tools to become one?

    Well, I’m here to tell you that you can do literally anything, and it’s the fact that you have either created habits that are at ODDS with what you want to do, or you never built up those habits to achieve that goal anyway.

    And before you say, “Danni, what do you know about coffee - you only drink green tea!” I used to drink 3x coffees a day before I realised that the calories in the milk were in direct opposition to my fitness goals. So guess what? I stopped drinking coffee, and I haven’t looked back for 10 years.

    The negative labels that you put on yourself only serve one purpose: to give you an out as soon as something gets hard. So how do we fix it?

  • When I was going through one of the toughest times in my life, I was sending wine memes to my girlfriends every day.

    “What’s for dinner? Wine!”
    “I don’t need a knife and fork for dinner, I’ve got a glass!”

    I wanted them to validate my actions. I wanted them to say “You’re going through something terrible… have a glass of wine!”

    When in reality, I needed someone to tell me to put the bottle down and go for a walk. Have some food. Sit with the emotion I was feeling.

    At some point, we have gotten too complacent with the comfortable - and stopped seeking out ways to improve our lives. That’s why, for my very first guest on the podcast I have brought on Emily Chadbourne - a mindset and spirituality coach with a wicked sense of humour.

    This podcast is something that I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and I’ve wanted to do it because  I don't think people speak the truth enough. I think they hide behind stories they like to tell each other to make themselves feel better. And I also think people are so scared of putting themselves out there, for what might happen.

    But I want to use this to be completely raw and unfiltered and to help to challenge your way of thinking so that you too … can do hard things.

    I’m Danni Duncan, and If you’ve followed me online you’ll know that I’m a featured fitness and nutrition coach, author, speaker and mum of 3 amazing kiddies (including twins).

    The things I’ve said online have often got me into a bit of trouble,  and its because I’m not afraid to call people out on their shit … I’m not afraid to discuss taboo topics and I don’t believe that any of us need to live an average life where we do what society is telling us is ‘normal’ … instead its our job to question  “Why is that normal?”  And is that what we want for our own life? 

    This podcast is going to be a space where I chat to experts (and share my own thoughts) on WHY we aren’t living our full potential. 
    Where you can get the facts that will help you to get your happiness, motivation and confidence back. 

    Taking the first steps can be hard, but I’m here to help you make it a little easier to face your fears and live your best life - every, single, day.
