Medicine and its delivery to those who need it comes in many forms. Some physicians have learned that no single branch of medicine has a monopoly on all effective modalities and have taken on a more inclusive, integrative approach. One of those pioneers who sought to bridge the gap between traditional allopathic medicine and complimentary modalities is Dr. Russ Greenfield.
Dr. Greenfield was one of the first graduates of the University of Arizona's Integrative Medicine Fellowship, training under Dr. Andrew Weil. His journey from the advent of this field in the U.S. and his whole-health approach to patient care today is inspiring and encouraging for all of us.
