Mr. Bingo is an artist living and working from London.
We have been trying to talk to Bingo from Day 1, so it was an absolute pleasure to finally do so as he doesn’t really do podcasts. After setting up the gear in his flat overlooking a canal in East London, moving some large cacti and settling down with tea and cake we got to talking about his life as Mr. Bingo.
As he puts it, he grew up in a ‘normal’ family and was always really interested in art and creating from a kid, getting through school to pursue creative projects. We talk in depth about his now infamous kickstarter campaign a few years back. Each reward was a beautifully planned and excuted project in itself. We discuss his amazing advent calendar project and how that has evolved over the years. There’s a whole heap of honesty and a lot of laughs in this one! A great insight into an incredible artist and what he is all about.
If you’ve not seen his amazing kickstarter rap video then check it out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MOioshwasl4

Welcome to Episode 15! This month we talk to the fantastic french artist, Camille Walala.
Camille grew up in small village in France and didn’t find her area of work until she moved to London in her late 20s. We had a amazing chat about her childhood, her influences and how it has shaped her work. We discuss London and the city she finds most inspiring. Something that was really interesting was her use of sketchbooks and collage in her practice for working through ideas and simply being creative. We also discuss some specifics of our favourite projects Camille has created over the past few years!
We hope you enjoy this one.

HEY! It’s episode 13 and we visited the beautiful PORTLAND, OREGON in the U.S. of A!
Wooah this is a good one! We were lucky enough to visit Aaron at his studio on Portland in August. He was up against it with a deadline but generously took the time out to give us so much energy and love when we arrived. This was a true adventure and we hope you enjoy the ride. We spent 5 hours hanging out, chatting and recording this episode. We covered so much from his childhood, the death of his beloved father, music, what he has learned from his parents and friends and using design history going forward. We also chatted about the importance of being clever with money and giving back to the designers of the future. We came out of this one smiling from ear to ear and equally exhausted from absorbing so much of the good stuff! The answer for “which idea do you wish you’d thought of?” is probably the most conceptual and best ever too.
Thanks to Aaron and Leigh for welcoming us so warmly and allowing us to get this incredible episode.

Lisa had arrived back from vacation the night before and had amazingly fitted us in to visit her at her studio the morning after.
We spoke about her holiday in Santa Fe, New Mexico that week, her childhood and the places she lived growing up and eventually finding a place of true happiness in San Francisco. We chatted about starting her creative career relatively late, teaching, about social media and the part it plays in her work as well as her wonderful collections of beautiful objects. This is a truly inspirational episode filled with warmth, love, stories of finding inspiration and joy and exploring new paths. We hope you enjoy this as much as we did recording it.
