In this episode, Amy sits down with Ulka Gupta for a raw, uncomfortable, and much-needed conversation about Indiaโs complicated relationship with cows. We worship them, call them mothers, and place them at the centre of culture and religion - yet rarely question what happens behind the dairy, meat, and leather industries.Together, they unpack the hypocrisy, conditioning, and convenience that allow people to love cows in theory while ignoring their suffering in practice. A bold episode on compassion, culture, and the uncomfortable truth behind โGau Mata.โ#UlkaGupta #Bollywood #Veganism #Podcast

We uncover what actually happens inside slaughterhouses the reality that is rarely shown or discussed. The conversation challenges common arguments like โjobs will be lostโ and explains why this is not a valid moral justification for harm. We also break down widespread myths around protein and B12, questioning whether weโve been misled about nutrition. We explore why many influencers avoid debates on veganism, and whether it stems from lack of evidence or fear of being exposed. The discussion goes further into culture versus ethics โ asking whether tradition should ever justify violence against vulnerable beings. At its core, this episode highlights that the real issue is not a lack of intelligence, but a lack of critical thinking and moral reflection. It also confronts uncomfortable truths about human nature, selfishness, and the ways we justify our choices. We live in a world where animals scream and we scroll.
Where kindness feels "feminine".
And happiness? A marketing campaign.
In this episode, Robin Singh โ the man behind Peepal Farm, Indiaโs most honest animal rescue and vegan farm โ talks about:
๐ Why empathy is dying (and why we let it)
๐ฑ What real happiness looks like beyond consumerism
๐ฅ How kindness can be rebellion in a cruel world
๐ญ The spiritual emptiness behind โdoing goodโ for social media
โค๏ธ And why saving animals might just be saving ourselves.
Robin Singh is the founder of Peepal Farm, a rescue and recovery centre for injured and abandoned animals in Himachal Pradesh that doubles as a hub for conscious living and social impact. Before dedicating his life to compassion work, Robin was a successful tech entrepreneur โ he founded E-junkie, a platform that helped creators sell digital goods easily. After years in the tech world, he sold his business and began searching for more meaningful work, eventually realising that his purpose lay in reducing suffering โ for both humans and animals. In 2014, Robin and his partner Shivani Singh built Peepal Farm from the ground up in Dhanotu village near Dharamshala. The farm is run on a simple philosophy: โDo less harm, do more good, and influence others to do the same.โ Itโs not just an animal rescue centre โ itโs a social experiment in sustainable living. Every structure is built with mud and salvaged materials, the team grows their own food, and everything, from the food they cook to the products they sell, is vegan and cruelty-free. The farm sustains itself through community stays, donations, and the sale of homemade goods, all while creating employment for local villagers.Today, Peepal Farm has become a symbol of compassionate entrepreneurship in India. Robinโs straightforward honesty, tech-sharp problem-solving mindset, and raw storytelling have inspired millions online to rethink their relationship with animals and consumption. His journey โ from software founder to animal rescuer โ is less about escape and more about alignment: building a life that reflects his values. As Robin often says, โThe goal isnโt to save the world โ itโs to make sure the world is a little less cruel because you existed.โ#RobinSingh #PeepalFarm #Happiness #Podcast #VeganPodcast #AmyAela #KindnesswithAmy

This episode will challenge your biology, your beliefs, and your plate.
In this unapologetically bold episode, weโre joined by ๐๐ซ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ง ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ๐๐ซ โ content creator, author, educator, and outspoken animal rights activist for a no-holds-barred conversation that challenges everything you thought you knew about meat, morality, and modern-day myths. Arjun dives straight into the controversial claim that humans are biologically designed to eat meat, exposing the flaws in mainstream evolutionary theories and explaining why our anatomy, digestion, and thriving on a plant-based or even frugivorous diet point to a very different truth.
We unravel the manipulative influence of the meat and dairy lobbies, revealing how the industries craft misleading narratives to keep consumers addicted and ignorant.
The discussion cuts deeper as we confront the intersection of religion and animal slaughter. Arjun challenges commonly held beliefs about Hinduism being non-vegetarian and poses a soul-stirring question:
The conversation doesnโt shy away from social realities either โ from the ridicule vegans face in day-to-day life and the dating scene, to public takedowns of controversial figures like Katie Hopkins, Arjun keeps it raw, real, and incredibly relevant.
Whether youโre a long-time vegan, a curious skeptic, or someone on the fence, this podcast will disrupt your comfort zone โ and maybe, your conscience. Buckle up for a deeply thought-provoking, sometimes uncomfortable, but ultimately empowering ride through science, spirituality, and the ethics of whatโs on our plate.
