I make my way home to Australia, and it honestly feels strange! Time certainly flies, and in a way, it feels like I never left. After being home for exactly one week, I am now off to the Whitsundays to race the Airlie Beach Triathlon, an event I won last year.

I take you through the moments that led to the viral sprint finish at Challenge Salou. A super long swim, a solo bike, and a well paced run totalled over 3:40 of racing, but it still came down to a matter of inches... Although initially bittersweet, the one now feels pretty good!

We go on a journey from Vitoria-Gasteiz to Salou. Although it is only a 5hr drive, it was one big adventure! We explored the streets of Salou, before crossing the border to Andorra where we visited Bailey and his teammmates. Andorra certainly looks like a place that could become 'home' in the future...

Following a highly successful summer of cycling, it was a pleasure to have Jackson on the podcast. In just 12 months, he has progressed from competing in C Grade, to debuting in the World Tour peleton. With such a rapid rise thus far, it seems the sky is the limit moving forward!
