The girls finally agree with their old man(s)—Arydia is the real deal. We’ve been playing separate campaigns with our daughters and they wanted to share their own thoughts on our new favorite board game, Arydia The Paths We Dare Tread. Please enjoy this discussion with our daughters, and be sure to get your copy of this magical game. And Far Off Games…you better be planning the next crowdfunding campaign for Arydia II!

It’s been awhile, but we’re back! In the time since the last episode, Brady has finished drafting his fifth novel, Adam has learned the pains of having to work in an office, and we both had the opportunity to explore our favorite board game ever created, Arydia: The Paths We Dare Tread.

It’s that time of year again! You know, when it’s too wet and cold to do anything other than write books and play games. We never actually played “Snow Brothers” for the NES, but for some reason, we always talked about it…but not today!

We’re back with another weekly biweekly (?) episode of The Joint Operations Podcast. Sorry for the sporadic release schedule, but it’s been a hectic tail end of the year with Adam switching careers and Brady deciding to write his THIRD novel of the year before 2025 drops on us.
*Brootal wasn’t actually my gnome warrior’s name, it was Broodle. But since the revelation of my unknowing wit, I’ve changed history and spelled it as if I understood the joke I was trying to make in my idiotic 20s.

Sorry for the delay! Life got away from us these last two weeks, but we’re back and better than ever (mostly because Adam’s no longer unemployed).
Join us for a festive celebration of our favorite Thanksgiving topics: games, games, and more games (with some movies and TV thrown in).

It’s election day! 🤮
And we’re here to hopefully take your mind off that for a little bit. Join the Sadler Bros. as they chat about ongoing games at the table and RPG video games.

This is a serious time of year for us.
Join the Sadler Bros. as they give you their top 10 (5 each, because twins have to share like idiots) Halloween things in multiple categories. Thanks for listening!

Join the Sadler Bros. as they delve deeper into Warhammer 40K Kill Team by exploring the exciting BRAND NEW frontier (for Brady, at least) of PvP gameplay. Also, catch up with the latest Relic Meyers & The Rhythms of Ruin book tour tales and hear some early thoughts on the Diablo IV expansion.
Stick together! It’s rough out there!

We got to sink our teeth into the new edition of Kill Team and it’s as fun as ever. So fun, in fact, that we decided to design our first mission, which can be found on the podcast’s website (www.jointoperationspodcast.com). Don’t forget to join our Discord server if you like what you hear! https://discord.gg/gwYf26ndTT
And as always, get your copy of Relic Meyers & The Rhythms of Ruin, available wherever you get your books!

The impossible has happened—the ratlings are coming. This episode is kind of all over the place, but Brady has no clue what to do with himself after Games Workshop’s recent announcement of an entire ratling squad coming to Kill Team.

Fall is in the air and hammers are falling from it. This week we look back on our very first co-design, Warhammer Quest: The Adventure Card Game and the influence the Warhammer brand had (and continues to have) on us.
We also celebrate the anniversary of the album that was largely responsible for our descent into fantasy metal: HammerFall’s masterpiece, “Legacy of Kings.”
If you haven’t picked up Brady’s new book, kick off the spooky season with the perfect heavy metal story: https://a.co/d/2QdKLIX
We highly recommend the audiobook, narrated by the amazing Brian Callanan: https://www.audible.com/pd/B0DH8KBTQR/?source_code=AUDFPWS0223189MWT-BK-ACX0-414261&ref=acx_bty_BK_ACX0_414261_rh_us

We’ve made it through a whole three episodes without having an on-air fight. You proud of us? Gather ‘round and hear how these twin titans of twerp metal found their footing and brought Lorenguard together deep in the cornfields of Indiana.
Also, make sure you sneak over to Amazon and pick up Brady’s new novel, “Relic Meyers & The Rhythms of Ruin,” available today in all formats!

Is it Halloween yet?
In this episode we chat about zombies and why we love ‘em (and what we don’t love about how they’re used sometimes). We also try to figure out why no one is sending us question yet, but maybe that’s because I’m terrible at Discord? Maybe we’ll sort that out soon…

After years of flirting with the idea, Adam and I have officially decided to make a move on the podcast thing. Join us for the first episode of our new weekly twin nerd chats, in which we discuss games, books, shows, movies, and just about anything else we can either create or enjoy together.

Hello, friends!
You may be getting this from my newsletter, but don’t worry, if you don’t want to listen to me and my brother, Adam, pontificate about playing and designing co-op games, you can unsubscribe from our Joint Operations podcast and just stay on the Brady J. Sadler newsletter for all my regular author activities.
However, I hope you’ll stick around for our new (maybe) weekly podcast. We even wrote our own theme music for it! I’m playing drums and keyboard while Adam is handling bass and guitar duties.
And don’t worry, we’ll get the music mixed eventually. This is just a placeholder so we can secure our RSS feeds and get this show on the road.
Looking forward to episode 1!
-Brady
