Dr. Pugao is a highly skilled oral and maxillofacial surgeon with expertise in surgical treatments for the head and neck.     Dr. Pugao's journey to oral surgery began after working as a medical technologist. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Loma Linda University in 2007 and his Doctor of Medicine from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, School of Medicine—New Orleans in 2010. He completed his post-graduate training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at LSU, which included a general surgery internship certificate.

    An active educator, Dr. Scoppa teaches SOT certification courses for SOTO-USA and offers training in TMJ analysis and treatment, cranial growth models, cranial-dental co-management, and integrated care models. He serves on the SOTO-USA board and runs Classava, LLC, an online platform focused on bridging gaps between various healthcare professionals.
