In this replay of a fan favorite episode, Meredith and Sarah go through the ups and downs of our current situation and what they might mean for secondhand. Meredith discusses what she is seeing when it comes to pricing, gives recommendations on what to buy right now if you can afford it, and what to hold on to until prices rise again. Is this the best time to buy a luxury handbag? Or the worst? She also goes into what you have at home to sell that is reselling for a bunch of cash. Plus Meredith’s single-serving cookie cake recipe: melt 1 tbsp butter, combine with one egg yolk, a pinch of salt and a pinch of baking powder, plus 1 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tbsp white sugar, and 1/4 cup of flour in a mug, ramekin, or teacup. Mix it all up and add chocolate chips or sprinkles. Microwave for 50 seconds.
