How does it feel to be 30 and not married? 40 with no kids?
What about starting new projects or a new fitness journey at this age? Does age truly mean anything?
In this episode, I'm joined by the incredible Sumayyah for the big sister talk you didn't know you needed. In a society that always makes women feel like their prime is at a certain age and that their worth decrease with time, we thought we would show you that the Qadr of Allah is greater than everything and that age doesn't in fact mean anything.
Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for tuning in this season, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed working on it, please let me know your feedbacks!

There shouldn't be taboos in Islam, especially when it comes to the way Allah created us and taking care of our health, yet sexual education is something that has always been ignored or put to shame in our community.
Today, I am joined by Sameera Qureshi who I discovered a while back through her amazing Instagram page called Sexual Health for Muslims. In today’s episode, I am joined by the lovely Lamyaa, the founder of Minara. And if you don’t know what Minara is, it is a new Muslim tech start up completely dedicated to mindfulness and prayer. So of course when I was planning this season and came up with an episode dedicated to Salah and how it improves our wellbeing as Muslims, I knew I wanted to have this chat with her.
In this episode, we first get to know Lamyaa and her mission with Minara. We then discuss about our own journeys with Salah, the things we implemented to improve our relationship with it, all the benefits it has, and our tips for you to embrace what is probably the most important thing we can do as a Muslim.
I also want to share with you the wonderful initiative Minara has created, which is the Fajr Rise and Shine challenge. This challenge aims to guide you to understand how precious Fajr is and how you can start being more consistent with it.
You can get the challenge e-book for 50% off if you use the code MIZAAN50. All proceeds will go towards helping Palestinians in Gaza this month.

After receiving so many requests for turning my written thoughts into a podcast, I finally did it. However, it didn't feel right for me to launch this new project without a short introduction (I'm saying short because the other episodes are way longer!)
In this first episode, I get personal, tell you about the event that led me to create The Mizaan and share what you can expect from In Balance.
See you next Friday for the second episode but first conversation of the season insha'Allah ☁️
