Black Holes were first theorized in 1915 by Albert Einstein using the Law of General Relativity, and in 1971 we first found evidence for them. However, it wasn't until 2019 that we were able to visualize a black hole, the M87 from Messier Galaxy 87, for the first time ever.
Black Holes are one of the biggest conundrums of our cosmos and there is still so much to uncover. But will we ever do that in the lifetime of this planet?

Launched in 1977, Voyager 1 & 2 were originally designed for a two-planetary mission and were supposed to be back within 5 years. They completed their original mission and then some other flyby missions and then went on the longest detour in the history of humanity.
44 years later, they are now on their journey to see the cosmos, far beyond our own galaxy. Their mission extended - indefinitely.
