House of Imp shutting down podcasting - Thanks for listening.
House of Imp is closing down podcasting.
These are my final words on these feeds. Hard decision? No. Once I realized that it felt better to call it quits than to keep struggling with it, it wasn't hard at all.
Correction/Update
This podcast however--- will only disappear from House of Imp. Last thought is that we will make it a thing of its own- not associated directly with house of Imp. Produced by Bill Babcock and JennyK Brennan and focusing on kompoz.com, the talent and the music we love. So, perhaps these words were hasty. But truth is that House of Imp is getting out of the business of podcasting for now and for how long I do not know.
When there is news, I will let you know here with links etc.
Thanks and be well.

Ghost in my head
Lyrics by Louis Marchena
I feel ... like a child trapped in an endless maze
I dream ... of a time when I can end my thoughts of you
I'll fall ... into a void without your love's embrace
I'll be ... lost & alone, cause I've nothing to offer you
I once found the one ... To share in my dreams, but my demons I could not shed
Now my life's undone ... Though you're still here ... like a Ghost In My Head
I've tried to erase ... All those thoughts of you, but my heart's been misled
I can never replace ... The smiles you've left ... you're like a Ghost In My Head
You've gone ... & left an emptiness no other heart could ever fill
It's been so long ... since I last felt the warmth of my arms around you
My screams ... are lost to the wind & my mind is restless still
I've stayed strong ... for the sake of our family but I'm tired without you
Now I found the one ... To share in my dreams, but my demons I cannot shed
Now my life's undone ... Though you're still here ... like a Ghost In My Head
I've tried to erase ... All those thoughts of you, but my heart's been misled
I can never replace ... The smiles you've left ... you're like a Ghost In My Head
I once found the one ... To share in my dreams , but my demons I could not shed
Now my life's undone ... Though you're still here ... like a Ghost In My Head
I've tried to erase ... All those thoughts of you, but my heart's been misled
I can never replace ... The smiles you've left ...
you're like a Ghost In My Head
Like a Ghost In My Head
Enjoy!

Christmas 2017 - Bill and Jen talk crap about Christmas - Well, kind of...
In the end, Christmas is just another day, another number in the calendar, and an opportunity to behead turkeys and turn off the radio. Jen and Bill have likes and dislikes and can't resist letting you know what they think about overspending, Christmas obsession in general, a bit about great gifts for the visually impaired, and cardboard boxes.
Featuring
Hotsauce in my Eggnog
Arranged and produced by Bill Babcock with help from
Andrea on drums and
Anton adding the bass.
It's been an interesting year and we're looking forward to an awesome 2018 with more disorganized podcasting, more Imp, more music, and even more conversations about things that may or may not matter.
Merry Christmas everyone, be it in joy or misery, it's all good.
Until next year.

Kompoz - Favorite collaborations - #1
For December 2017, we picked a couple of great tracks produced by artists from kompoz.com.
This is the first of many more episodes featuring some of our favorite creations. There will be more independant music but also books and movies we simply can't not talk about. This Kompoz showcase features two collaborations:

Never Enough:
Stop, then begin again
the professor just killed Gilligan
It's the fallout of a contract dispute
Cold, how the wind blows
Play it close to the vest, everybody knows
you'll lose it all if you get too cute
I was happy before holding next to nothing
now it's never enough
(I got a lot but it's never enough)
I've come to find
what's good is better four times over
again and again
Try to pretend... keep it all until the end
Stop!... before you judge me
I put a nickel in the bucket for charity
want some more but I know for sure
that's it's never enough
Wait... Here's something worthwhile
I'll rake it in with two hands to make a pile
It's a good start but I'm not done yet
It's never enough
I got a lot but I still want more
The kind of things that you buy at the good stores
I need the finer things in life, don't you??
I gotta get another BMW
I speed by all the people with the normal stuff
I got a lot... but it's never enough!

Relapse
The chemicals are alluring
Revving up for relapse
Drastic measures
All include dispensing
Waning patience
None of which concerns me
You got - I want
And it's all worth pursuing
I see no sense in all my misbehaving
I run to you with seething expectation
You are the perfect catalyst in binding
Mine - I'll do most anything to make you mine
Like your hands are shaking
Worthy of relapse
Are my senses fading?
Into you and all through me
Complicating ecstasy
Another way - some other find
Condescending alibi
Another time of finding you
The passion magic that you do
In all too few it confuses some
You know there ain't no other way
I see no sense in all my misbehaving
I run to you with seething expectation
You are the perfect catalyst in binding
Mine - I'll do most anything to make you mine
Progress halted by medicinal menu
Heartache - heart race - hands are made for trembling
The desert - distance - and only you I engage
Thrashing - controlling - and I can't find this calling
Revving up for relapse
Revving up for relapse
Revving up for relapse
Enjoy!
