Hosers Panel is back this week to do a quick rundown of the Hockey world. The Canucks make a huge milestone hire into their front office as they hire Emilie Castonguay for an Assistant General Manager position, marking the first women to be hired as an AGM in the NHL, and it looks like they are not stopping there, as they are currently completing interviews to fill other spots in their front office. Brendan Lemieux is back on the hot seat after a dirty boarding hit on Ryan Lindgren, that got him kicked out of the game and most likely a suspension incoming. Crazy enough, but it may not have been the dirtiest hit that occurred Monday night. The boys discuss both hits and the penalties they would give to both. Team Canada's Men's Hockey Roster appeared to be leaked by the IIHF, and quickly deleted, so the boys take a look at the names representing Canada in Beijing, including a hometown hero of the Hosers, looking to win gold. Hosers Panel is back this week with a bunch of news. Fresh of the press and right before the boys sit down to record, one of the worst penalty calls you will see gets called on the Avs in OT, find the video on all of our socials if you haven't seen it. At the same time, video starts going around twitter of Kodak Black getting his freak on, INSIDE the Panthers arena during their game Tuesday night. As for actual news, Evander Kane has his contract terminated by the Sharks, and we have inside knowledge on where he is headed next! Jack Eichel skates for the first time as a Golden Knight, Zach Fucale breaks the shutout record to start a career, Bowness gets a hefty fine for his bench meltdown, and so much more in this episode!
We want to send all of our love, support, and thoughts to the families and friends of 2 hockey players that tragically lost their lives this past week. Our hearts are absolutely broken for the families involved. These were young hockey players with bright futures ahead of them, and in a blink of an eye, lost their lives in the most tragic and heart wrenching way. Grant Gilbertson (Victoria, BC) (18) and Teddy Balkind (New Canaan, Connecticut) (16) will never be forgotten and their legacy and personalities will live on forever. -

Hosers Panel is back this week with the worst news a Canadian can receive and that is that the 2021 WJCs were cancelled. To go with that, we also received confirmation that the NHL would not be sending players to the 2022 Olympics. The boys discuss all of this news, the voiced opinions by some of the NHL's biggest stars, as well as try to create a potential solution to make up for multiple missed Olympics now by the NHL. The Panel also discuss what exactly is a Natural Hat Trick, as some people online have some outlandish opinions, potential for some more "Michigan" variations, the Canucks staying hot with their new coach and front office, and much more.

Hosers Panel is back this week with Tyler and Mike recapping their trip to Las Vegas. The laughs and stories are incredible, even with the foggy brain, you are not going to want to miss this episode! Trevor Zegras shocked the world with the "Dish-igan" and he has the full love and support from the Hosers, unlike some NHL Media Members. Tons of changes to coaching staffs and front offices across Canada, have the Canucks, Jets, and Canadiens all looking for fresh starts. Covid has hit the league the past 72 hours harder than it has this season causing a lot of postponed games and shut downs for teams, how will the NHL navigate? Hosers Panel is back this week, after a few week hiatus due to scheduling changes and conflict. We are back weekly and have a bunch of news to breakdown. Blockbuster trade sending Jack Eichel to Vegas nets the Sabres a crazy return. The Hosers breakdown the full trade and figure out who the winner of the deal really is. Alex Ovechkin is on an absolute tear this year as he climbs the all time goals list at a RECORD pace, how high can he climb? Sidney Crosby makes his return and instantly makes a play asking the hockey world if he should get suspended, and if not, if it wasn't Crosby, would that player be suspended. The Hosers look at the teams in the Western Conference and dive into the times making surprisingly hot and cold starts and some unknown players coming out to a BLAZING pace these first 20 or so games. Who is just a flash in the pan and who will keep it up for a full 82 games. All that and more in this week's episode. Hosers Panel is back this week with an absolute heartbreaking, gut-wrenching discussion regarding the recently released investigation of sexual assault of a player by a coach in the NHL, and the truly horrific cover up that involved almost an entire NHL franchise for over 11 years. This was a topic that had to be talked about and is completely unacceptable in so many different ways. The Hosers fully breakdown all of the repercussions that followed and give their opinions of everyone involved. It was a very hard topic to discuss, and a very serious one at that, so the laughs were put on hold as we support a victim and get his story out there. Towards the end of the show, we discuss Vegas becoming the front runners for Jack Eichel and breakdown some of the teams that are doing better/worse than we expected, including another Binnington outburst. Hosers Panel is back this week to kickoff the start of the 2021-22 NHL Season and the season did not come quietly. Multiple huge nights for players, some crazy games and of course questionable hits and very questionable penalties handed out by the Department of Player Safety. This episode is absolutely jam packed with headlines from the first week of the NHL season and you are definitely not going to want to miss what we have for the final stories of the show. Hosers Panel is back to kick off their Second season as NHL hockey is right around the corner and with preseason games well underway. In our own preseason we catch up on everything that has happened during our almost 2 month break, starting with the signed and successful offer sheet of Jesperi Kotkaniemi, the subsequent trade made by the Habs to fill the new hole, a bunch of new extensions signed, the never ending saga between Jack Eichel and the Buffalo Sabres plus much more. The Hosers cap off the show with looking at each host's Top 10 Goalies entering the 2021-2022 Season and the debate that is SURE to follow! As mentioned on the show, Hosers Panel's Prediction show is coming in the next 2 weeks along with a Hosers Trivia night with a bunch of wacky trivia questions and games that can be enjoyed by everybody from non-hockey fans to absolute diehards, the comedic questions and topics should be an absolute blast. Hosers Panel is back to breakdown the 2nd week of absolute CHAOS in and around the NHL! After a crazy expansion draft and NHL draft, the attention turned to the Free Agents as almost $1 BILLION worth of NHL contracts was handed out in the first 3 days of the Free Agency period with many players seemingly get overpaid on high contract term. The Hosers review breakdown all of the notable contracts and give you the details and their opinion on all of the main contracts signed, including the deals signed just before the official Free Agency period opened. Hosers Panel is back this week after an absolute crazy week around the NHL as the 32nd NHL team completed their Expansion draft officially starting Seattle Kraken's history in the NHL. Just two days later the NHL draft started with Round 1 and the next day finished with Rounds 2-7. The Hosers break down the initial pickings of the Seattle Kraken, the lack of other assets they acquired and what the Kraken's game plan could look like going into Free Agency and their first ever NHL season! Then the Hosers dive into the all of the trades that came after the roster freeze was lifted, including a couple BLOCKBUSTER deals! Going into the NHL Draft, the Hosers look at their Winners and losers of the draft along with a couple pieces of history made. The Panel also look at the very unnecessary and inexcusable dark spot the Montreal Canadiens put on Day 1 of the NHL Draft. The Hosers finish the podcast with showing their support and congratulating Luke Prokop on his monumental achievement and courage of living as his true self! The Hosers look at the top 10 projected picks as well as a few other honourable mentions and run you through what each player could bring to the team that ends up selecting them in just under 2 weeks! Hosers Panel is back this week, a little late due to technical difficulties earlier in the week, but we were able to record after Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final that saw the Tampa Bay Lightning win back-to-back Cups knocking off the Montreal Canadiens! We breakdown the series, dive into some of the festivities that have occurred since the win and take a look at some very early odds on the 2022 Cup Winner. The Panel looks into the future of the Habs in the upcoming season and beyond and explains how it may not all be sunshine and rainbows after losing in the Cup Finals. Do Canadian hockey markets have unhealthy fanbases and devotion to their teams that lead to on-ice complications? The Hosers discuss that as well. Lastly, the Panel shares the absolutely heartbreaking story out of Columbus as their talented young goalie Matiss Kivlenieks has passed away at way too young of an age. The Hosers send their deepest condolences to the Kivlenieks, the Blue Jackets organization, and everybody involved in this horrible situation. Hosers Panel is back this week dropping their 2nd round predictions for the 2021 NHL Playoffs! As this episode is being released after most of the series have already begun, the Hosers made sure to submit their predictions before the series started, and to announce them on this week's episode to ensure that there was no advantages/cheating occurring in the selection process. The Panel also takes a look at their Round 1 predictions and discuss a few final notes on the closure of all the Round 1 series. As this episode was recorded Monday afternoon, Game 7 between the Leafs and Canadiens had yet to be played, the Hosers give their predictions on the final score for Game 7 and give their Round 2 predictions for either Game 7 scenario. Even though the 2nd round has only had 3 games played total, there were definitely no shortage of storylines already, and many of them coming out of the Avs/Vegas series. The Hosers break down the chippy game 1 and give opinions and thoughts of the game in general as well as some questionable antics from the Vegas Golden Knights.
