Lauren, Rosa and Sam lay an often turbulent and increasingly terrifying season to rest with a huge sigh of relief - they didn’t do it! - and a side of WTF - Poch sacked? We discuss the season’s heroes, villains, highs and lows, dish out grades and culture picks, and look forward to a summer of sport…and apparently a general election?! Time to take out the trash!

Wow, that one hurt. Lauren and Rosa feel all their feelings in the aftermath of Spurs Women’s FA Cup final defeat: heartbreak, angst, pride, and belief that we’ll be back, because this is only the beginning. Also! The men broke their losing streak with victory against Burnley: you can have that one, lads, because if you do anything stupid this week…

Billie, Lauren and Rosa get together in the aftermath of another chastening week and exhort the fanbase — and our basket case of a club — to hold its nerve and stay the Ange course. (But also let’s end the season now.) We discuss another comeback from Spurs Women at Everton, and forward to the FA CUP FINAL 🤩. See you at Wembley!

This is your post-NLD debrief: a safe space for sadness, anger, and crackpot conspiracy theories. Take a seat, feel all your feelings, and hopefully feel slightly better afterwards? PS we love you forever, Cuti.

The gang assemble for possibly our last peaceful pod on this earth. Yes, it’s the NLD this weekend and nothing can stop it from happening. We share memories of past trauma, choose the player we most need to have a Big Game, and Billie, Lauren and Sam tell the fanbase (and Rosa) to get its act together. We have a look back at Spurs Women’s draw at Man Utd (and hope we can iron out the last wrinkles before we meet again in the final) and forward to Brighton at the weekend. We wrap it all up with some culture before we head off to make the appropriate offerings to our gods: the San Ti aren’t coming to save us from this one.

I don’t know if you heard, but Spurs Women are going to the FA CUP FINAL!!!! Lauren and Rosa take a long, joyous look back at that historic Sunday in Tottenham as our magnificent women came back from conceding an early goal to beat Leicester City 2-1 at extra time. We discuss the vibes, the lineup, the subs, the tactics, the fitness and anything else we can think of, and still have time for a quick shoutout to the only men that matter (nope, not those clowns).

A very special, overly-excitable, slightly nauseous FA CUP SEMI-FINAL PREVIEW POD! Rosa and Lauren are joined by HG cousin Caroline as they look back at the journey (inc. penalty shootout heroics and Peak Ros) and forward to our historic game against Leicester City that could take us that final step closer to glory. But whatever happens, it’s been magical. Come on you Spurs!

Another day, another inexplicably inconsistent first half performance followed by a barnstorming - ish - second half fightback from our lilywhites. We ponder the complexities of our performance against Forest, revisit past tragedy/comedy away at Newcastle, and dish out our latest culture picks.

Another late win, this time against the elite warriors of Luton Town. We discuss Bissouma’s fall and Brennan’s rise, wonder what to do with Kulu, marvel at our magnificent captain, and beg Tottenham to play more than 15 minutes of amazing football per game — especially with West Ham coming up. Pop quizzes, culture, apologies to parents and first time outings at the stadium for HG offspring: it’s all here.

Ash, Billie, Rosa and Sam come together to mostly ignore the actual football (bar a shoutout to GB’s heroics as Wales captain) to bring you the Hometown Glory Mount Rushmore Draft. Find out who the gang picked as their Modern Classic, Childhood Sweetheart, Certified Legend, and Wildcard. Plus! Does it matter if Spurs Women are only allowed to score in the second minute of games now? We wrap it all up with a Luton quiz starring the Ginger Pele himself, Gary Doherty, even more Dune chat, a mini Mexico travelogue, and the latest COYS celebrities.

Welcome to Statement Win Sunday. The men took their revenge on Aston Villa by producing officially their most complete Angeball performance yet, and the women made history by finally scoring a goal against Manchester City…and then beating them on penalties to make it to the semi finals of the FA Cup for the first time EVER. A truly blessed day. All that, plus a Fulham quiz and the final word on the Oscars.

Saturday afternoon against Palace: more low block hell, more divine Micky van de Ven, more Timo Werner tearing COYS message groups apart. We preview the Crunch Fixture that is Villa (with a bonus pop quiz), review the good, the bad, and the offside winner of the women’s NLD, and wrap it all up with some culture: Billie gets Timothée Chalamet now!

We thought we were back! But it turns out we are kind of…not. We discuss the bizarrely soporific spectacle that was the Wolves game with a minimum of Ange angst - we’re zealots after all. Alas, no respite from Spurs Women either, as their lacklustre performance against Villa led to an infuriatingly identical result. The solution? Patience, and lots of lovely culture picks to get us through a football-free fortnight. We’ll be back (again)!

Players, last-minute winners and VIBES are back! Our returning captain gave us just the lift we all needed in the win over an annoyingly good Brighton. Was it a well-managed game or a bit of luck and do we care? Elsewhere, the women’s FA Cup draw took place IN HELL because for the 50th time this season, we have to play Manchester City. We also make time to push our personal agendas AND rate Usher’s Super Bowl Halftime Show.

Another day, another loss to Man City Women. But this time we did it without conceding a single goal to Bunny Shaw! We move. Incrementally, but we move. We also look back at the frustrating Merseyside draws for both teams and ask: are we taking the one club mentality too far? We wonder if Ange will agree to have someone protect Vic at corners this weekend against Brighton, and are mindful of not counting our chickens against the women’s FA Cup opponents Charlton. Plus! Culture: Tracy Chapman is the 🐐 and does Lauren love musicals now?

Billie, Rosa and Tom discuss the 3-2 against Brentford that featured some excellent performances, some calamitous ones (sometimes from the same player), a bit of pantomime villain nonsense, a darts subplot and a truly horrible last five minutes. Again we ask: why does everyone have weird beef with Tottenham? We look ahead to Everton, Rosa and Tom wax lyrical about the genius of Barbara Kingsolver, and Billie keeps up with the Oscars race. Bonus! LIVE reactions to Tottenham’s latest transfer coup.

Football’s strangest hoodoo finally came to an end last week as Man City knocked us out of the FA Cup thanks to a highly debatable/perfectly reasonable goal. Lauren, Rosa and Sam mourn the loss of our trophy, and pick themselves up to go again… by reviewing another loss to Man City, this time for the women. We preview Brentford, Spurs Women's next league game against Liverpool, and the Conti Cup quarter final draw against… Manchester City. Brutally played, football gods (but thank you for returning James Daniel Maddison to us).

Rosa and Lauren reflect on Spurs Women’s chaotic win at West Ham in the eye of Storm Isha, and make our latest sales pitch to Grace Clinton after another dazzling performance. There are flowers for Celin Bizet, Jess Naz and Eveliina Summanen (but only in midfield, Robert!), concerns about defence with a game against the inevitable Bunny Shaw looming, and the Amy Turner Agenda gets a boost. We preview the men’s cup game against City — can we do it without Sonny? — and dish out our latest culture picks.

Two big games to review for Billie, Charlie, Rosa, Sam, Tom and special guest Lauren: the spirited 2-2 draw at Old Trafford and Spurs Women’s chaotic comeback Cup win. We go through our winners and losers from Manchester, Sam gives us some photography tips, and Lauren gives us the rundown on that late, late victory over Sheffield United. Plus, naturally, our very excellent Culture picks.

Join Ash, Rosa and Sam on their emotional rollercoaster as they react to being drawn against City in the Cup, and to the on-off-maybe-on-again-by-the-time-you-listen Radu Drăgușin transfer saga. We celebrate Pedro Porro’s golazo (does he score any other kind of goal?) and Rodrigo Bentancur’s surprise captaincy, and Rosa mourns her fallen hero GB. We talk ourselves into Timo Werner and look ahead to Old Trafford and an emotional game for the women against Sheffield United. Finally! Irish drama, French swashbucklers, and modern cowboys: it’s our weekly culture picks.
