From feeling abandoned by their father figure to grappling with conflicting beliefs instilled by their incarcerated parent, Brice shed light on how this unique upbringing shaped their worldview. Despite the challenges, Brice's sense of humor and resilience shone through during our conversation, making for an enlightening and surprisingly witty interview. You guys won't believe the spine-chilling experience I just had at the Haunted Whittier Historical Society Museum! I scored a minisode interview with one of their staff members and uncovered some mind-boggling information about the eerie happenings within those walls.
Witnesses have reported unexplainable phenomena such as objects mysteriously moving, strange whispers echoing through empty rooms, and even ghostly apparitions appearing out of thin air! The staff firmly believes that the museum may be haunted by past Whittier residents who may be lingering around due to their attachment to the historical artifacts displayed there. As many of you have heard, we lost our beloved Hollyweird mascot and pet, Mia, unexpectedly. She was one of the most loving animals that we were so lucky to have in our life and we are deeply saddened that we no longer have her here with us. Through the grief and loss of Mia, we decided to process this loss with an episode discussing pet loss, grief, and the afterlife of animals.
On today's episode, we dive into the fascinating topic of the afterlife of animals and explore pet loss and grief with paranormal researcher and author, Nicole Strickland. Strickland is one of the leading West Coast afterlife & paranormal researchers. She’s the founder and director of the well-respected San Diego Paranormal Research Society and California Coordinator of the Ghost Research Society.
