All rise! It's the Season 1 Finale and we're presenting our closing arguments. This season we put dating on trial, cross examined bad advice, called out the lies we were told about our bodies, and testified about things most people are to scared to say out loud.
When we started this podcast we had no idea what we were building. We just knew we had things to say - about dating, our bodies, the advice that had failed us and experiences that shaped us. Season 1 became something bigger than two best friends with a microphone. It became a space where real things got said out loud.
In this episode we're recapping our wildest moments, turning the mic on each other with rapid fire questions, and making our case for why Season 2 is going to hit even harder! We don't have all the answers, but after one full season, we finally know the right questions.
THANK YOU for trusting us with your stories, for sharing, listening and all YOUR support.
Season 1 is adjourned! See you next season!!! ❤️

This week, we’re putting our friendships under a microscope. We get into loyalty, what it actually means to show up, how we keep our own friendship so solid, how we work through conflict and the boundaries that protect it.
We also talk about the friendships that didn’t make it, the ones that fizzled, the ones that exploded, and the ones that taught us everything we know now. Because sometimes you outgrow people, sometimes they bench themselves, and sometimes…they put themselves on thin ice.
If you’ve ever wondered, “Am I being a good friend?” or “Why does this friendship feel like a group project I’m doing alone?” this episode is for you!
It’s honest, it’s funny, it’s a little unhinged, and it might inspire you to run your own friendship audit.

It’s Lacey’s birthday, and the second we hit record it turned into full FaceTime energy. We got distracted immediately, and the episode spiraled into roasts, random tangents, questionable stories, and the kind of laughing‑so‑hard‑we-can’t-breathe moments that derail everything. It’s messy, it’s chaotic, it’s giving “best friends on a call forgetting the world exists.” It's raw, it's real and it is completely us!

We sit down for one of the most honest conversations we’ve had on the show. We break down the realities of physical and sexual assault, how it shows up, how it’s minimized, and how it impacts survivors long after the moment has passed. We talk about the systems that fail people, the language we use without thinking, and the ways communities can actually show up with care instead of judgment.
Lacey also shares a personal story from her own life, offering a vulnerable look at what survival, reflection, and reclaiming your voice can look like. This episode is about truth, safety, and giving space to experiences that are too often pushed aside.
If you or someone you love has lived through something similar, we hope this conversation reminds you that you’re not alone, your story matters, and healing doesn’t have to look one specific way.

We dive headfirst into the messy, ever‑shifting world of beauty standards, who creates them, who benefits from them, and why we’re all still pretending they make any sense. From childhood insecurities to social‑media filters to the unspoken rules we’ve all absorbed without noticing, we’re unpacking the pressure, the performance, and the politics of “pretty.”

This week, we expose the world’s least talented catfish, someone who tried to fool us and still couldn’t get past our FBI‑level instincts. We walk you through how we spotted the red flags, the moment everything clicked, and the surprisingly hilarious aftermath. Come hang out with us and marvel at the sheer audacity!

In this episode, we’re getting real about the things we usually avoid saying out loud. From the messy, hilarious, realities of co‑parenting and learning how to communicate without losing our minds, we’re laying it all out with honesty and heart.
We also take a trip down memory lane, back to childhood summers, sleepovers, and the “outside until the streetlights came on” era, and compare it to the world we’re navigating now. The differences are wild, the lessons are real, and the nostalgia is strong.

We unpack the wild world of dating, the questionable decisions that somehow feel like good ideas at the time, and the moments when an ex sneaks back into the storyline like a recurring character nobody invited. From “How did I end up here again?” to “Why did I think this was a good idea?”, we’re breaking down the laughs, the lessons, and the delusional optimism that makes modern dating chaotic, relatable, and always podcast‑worthy.

This Valentine's Day, the group chat is wide open and the submissions are unhinged. From sweet confessions to chaotic dating disasters, we're reading your stories, passing the phone, and reacting the way your best friend would. Silence your situationship and settle in, the group chat is leaking the red flags.
-
We introduce ourselves, unpack how we became friends through a mutual we're definitely not friends with anymore, and recap the road trip where we almost got trafficked but somehow turned it into a joke. It's friendship lore, red flags, survival skills, and character development all in one episode.

Think of this as the group chat you actually want to open. Highly Unrecommended is all about real conversations, real mistakes, and real growth with a lot of humour in between. This trailer is your invitation to join the chaos.
