Hey I thought this sounds like a fascinating topic for a podcast episode! Crass definitely had a significant influence on the punk and hardcore scenes, but their impact on extreme metal is not as widely discussed. Exploring the connections between Crass's anarchistic philosophy and the themes found in extreme metal could lead to some interesting insights. Their DIY ethos and uncompromising attitude could resonate with many fans of extreme metal. Overall, I think delving into the history of Crass and their influence on different genres of music would make for a compelling podcast episode and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did recording it.

Bass players are the backbone of the band along with the drummers but people do not often think of them. In this episode i try and rectify it by giving you a quick run down and a list of who i feel is heritage and who are modern masters

Sid Vicious has since his death been vilified and mocked for his tuneless bass playing, this is a sad outcome for a young man with little prospects by the handed to him by the accident of his birth. The spirit of rock n roll flowed through him and burnt so bright that he was consumed by it. This weeks episode i try and right the wrong that is long over due.

Industrial Metal is a tough one to analyse both musically and lyrically, i gave it a go and sort of covered all i could. So many bands that i may have passed over but i did linger on the main front runners and i do a sort of dive into my favourite of the genre. So come and lets take a listen to some of the craziest and sonically diverse music of all the Metal sub genres.

Riot City maybe a band you have never heard but SHOULD as they are one of the most exhilarating Speed Metal bands on the planet right now. And their second album Electric Elite is a mighty slice of crazy speed fueled metal madness. And Live they are an act that will be very hard to follow for some time to come.
This episode has a really nice little treat instead of the usual Ad beak this time i have a new track from https://www.kronowski.com/ who where brought to my attention by Davide Pulito at www.themetalistpr.com so pop over if your interested in some top notch PR for your growing band or even the established acts who want a bigger push

All of us at one time or another has heard this classic album but this 2020 reissue that celebrates its 50th birthday and in amongst all sort of amazing goodies you get this contentious Quadraphonic mix that came out 4 years after its release in 1976. Yes its a strange concept quad sound folded back to stereo but trust me some Audiophiles will wince at this but its all you would expect and SO much more. Take a read of my full review for https://metal-roos.com.au/ on the link below it may just help you understand where i'm coming from.
