קינן הוא מוזיקאי מקצועי ומרצה בכיר בכמה וכמה מסגרות, וסגנונו האופייני מאיר את יצירות המופת הגדולות באופן המאפשר הבנה מעמיקה בלי צורך להכיר מושגים מקצועיים. הדברים מוגשים באופן חי ונהיר, ובמקרים רבים מנוגדים לדעה ה"מקובלת" שהשתרשה בעקבות המיתוסים המלווים תמיד את יצירות המופת של גדולי המלחינים בהיסטוריה. -
