Representatives from the Kwik Trip 50k, and the Band of Runners organization joined Josh to discuss how they are working together to support veterans and gold star families. The Kwik Trip 50K is a run in Wisconsin that was started by Josh, Jon and a small group of running friends. It started as a goofy idea that grew into a way to raise money for an awesome organization. That organization is, Band of Runners. They bring veterans and gold star families to a trail running camp to introduce them to trail running, and the trail running community. They teach them all about the therapeutic properties of running through nature and also help provide them with a sense of community that they may have lost after their time in the service. It's a small organization that is making a huge impact. Young Voices contributor, Lora Karch, joins Josh to discuss her recent article "Got Immigration Problems? Fix Foreign Policy First." In her article, she uses the Syrian conflict as an example to show how interventionist policies helped to make Syria unlivable, which led to the mass displacement of millions of people into other nations. This has helped to create the immigration problems we see today. Lora's article in the Libertarian Institute: Got Immigration Problems? Joseph Bouchard, a freelance journalist from Canada, who is currently based in Brazil, joined Josh to discuss how elite US institutions and companies are rewarding former Latin American leaders with high paying, cushy positions. They reward them, despite their past record of authoritarian abuses against their people. Some of the positions are even created so the former leaders can teach the benefits of democracy, even though they themselves have a record of forcefully silencing protestors and opposition leaders in their countries.

Aidan Grogan joins Josh to discuss how the recently dismantled USAID has been funding family planning NGOs, like the International Planned Parenthood Federation and the Population Council, for decades. They discuss their history, and how they used funding from USAID to help drive global population control efforts in developing countries. Those efforts led to disastrous policies like the one child policy in China, involuntary sterilizations, and abortions in populations across the world. They also discuss how these efforts have helped to create the low birth rate problem that many countries are now facing and its impact on the future.
