    Now training 15+ hours a week and learning as she goes all roads lead to her first race in Italy in September. In this conversation Ben and Paige talk about why fear is a great motivator, how her relationship with food has changed over the years from her background as a trained dancer to now seeing it as more of a fuel source & the amazing experience when sometimes Instagram crosses into reality.

    Sam, who’s diary entry like instagram posts have been connecting to so many is a runner, mental health advocate and also shares his story in relation to his sobriety journey. Having lived for the weekend for many years Sam’s relationship with alcohol wasn’t serving him anymore, something which he believes is similar for many of us.

    He first started running to aid his training when working towards a boxing bout, in doing so he was shocked to discover runnings unique power to silence an overthinking mind. Since that moment it has been a massive part of his life & an actionable mechanism to aid his mental heath.

    In this conversation Ben & Sam talk about his first marathon that really didn’t go to plan, how a passion for words has changed his life & why, if you’re in a place you’re struggling you should always remember, ‘this too shall pass’.

    Alice, is a fitness and running content creator who has inspired many through her authentic and real content. It was this authenticity that led to a reel on her instagram being viewed nearly 10 million times, skyrocketing her account from a few thousand to over a 100K in the matter of a week, changing her life.

    Having always been inspired to run by her Dad, who himself is an ultra runner, Alice has dabbled with running over the years. However, following a car accident that ultimately lead her to need some time away from the gym she began to really commit to her running journey and has just completed her first half marathon race.

    In this conversation hear why Alice thinks it was letting go of judgment that changed her life on social media and in running, why the race at the end of a training block is a victory lap and how it heals her heart to now be able to run with her dad, something she once felt was impossible.

    Andre in his early years dreamt of being an elite athlete moving away from his home in London at 15 to pursue not only that dream but to create distance from a tragic situation at home. Ultimately running was what Andre needed most at this time in his life.

    Now, due to that situation and many other experiences Andre has dedicated his life to creating valuable change through running, one way he has done that is by creating his running crew Mafia Moves who’ve injected positivity into a place Andre was once unable to run!

    In this conversation Ben and Andre, talk about that time in his life, how he’s so close to completing all the major marathons and how, like many of us he sometimes has to deal with those feelings of Impostor syndrome!

    George has just broken the World Record for the most amount of Rubik’s cubes solved while running a marathon. He managed 520 in the 26.2 miles crossing the line in a time of 4.24.

    An incredible personal achievement, yes, but also a celebration of the cube that has taught George so many lessons over the years in this its 50th year.

    In this conversation Ben and George talk about the other World Records he also holds, how he actually trained to run a sub 2.50 marathon while in the build for London and why he thinks he may have underestimated the weight of the cubes he had to carry around the course.

    Kevin, whose life has centred around motor sport, is a Rally Cross driver for Team Hansen Motorsport . He is also currently competing in Extreme E alongside Molly Taylor - and is sponsored by Red Bull.

  • James Cooper, a PT by trade in 2024 is running a marathon every single day.

    Not content with a normal year James is running 366 daily marathons (thanks leap year) in aid of ‘The Samaritans’.

    After a difficult time with his mental health 10 years ago, he turned to running having never done it before and entered his first marathon. Since then he has completed an endurance challenge every year, from marathons, to ultras and triathlons, all to raise money for charities like ‘The Samaritans’ as well as raising awareness of his own initiative ‘Smilinggg’.

    In this conversation Ben and James chat about how you go about training for such a monumental challenge, what he fears and excites him and why you should really take the pressure off yourself if you’re just starting out on your running journey!

  • Lloyd Kempson is a runner, coach and co-owner of the hugely popular Instagram athletics page Trackstaa.

    From an early age Lloyd has been immersed in the running space, from a ranked teen in the 1500m & 3000m to coaching 100s of athletes to PB’s across all distances! Lloyd who’s never been one to shy away from his battles with his own mental health has recently been diagnosed with ADHD something which he has been incredibly open with online, inspiring many in the process.

  • Liz Newcomer is a seven time marathoner and 3 star marathon major holder.

    In 2019 she began her distance running journey at the Victoria park half, since then she has been on a quest to find ‘Resiliency In Running’ - the name of her podcast!   • At 23 Jordan Adams was told he is a carrier of a gene that means he will develop Dementia by his early 40s.

    Jordan, now 28, who’s family has been devastated by Dementia has set his sights on raising a target of a million pounds to help fund the on going research in the field in a bid to #FindACure. Running has not only become the vehicle to do this but the way in which Jordan manages his own mental health.

    Alongside his brother, who also carries the gene, Jordan will run the length of the UK at the end of 2024 in a bid to continue to share his family’s story & help raise awareness of those affected.
