  • In this episode we dive into a topic that holds a very special place in my heart, and is an integral part of the healing work I do with clients - Inner Child and what it means to connect with yours.

    In this exploration of the inner child, we venture into the depths of our past, unraveling the significance of the formative years and imprinting stages, particularly between the ages of 0-7 .   • In this week's episode and part 4 of the Meditation Mini-Series, we explore a theory I have called 'Mortality Motivation'. Having worked in the personal development and coaching industry for over 8 years, I have noticed a common theme when it comes to us humans feeling motivated to make positive change... it often comes from a place of fear, and for some near mortality of some sort.

    It could be a diagnosis, a near death experience, even a redundancy scare or potential loss can catapult us into a whirlwind of 'what if's' and shake us to our core and make us (finally) reassess life as we know it.

    But my question is WHY WAIT? Why wait until the fear or pain strikes (I call them 'de-fib moments' to kick start us into making positive changes in our life?

    What if we were to be driven by prevention rather than cure?

    I share my own experience of mortality motivation and how that's led me to be sharing this with you now, and the career I am in.

    Grit, Grace and Gratitude.

    Grit - speaking your truth, self acceptance, aligning to your values and doing those things that scare you a bit! 

    Grace - being kind to yourself and other, compassion that were a spirit having a human experience and often conflict.

    Gratitude - If you’re listening to this, you have a million things to be grateful for. Internet, phone or laptop, network, clothes, health, plus your whole life ahead of you.
