Ingrid Reiger from the podcast '#Hashtag Death' joins us to discuss all things death.
There are two certainties in life: death and taxes. Death may not come on the 30th of June, but it is something from which none of us are immune. So why not talk about it? At '#Hashtag Death', Ingrid is dying to talk! At birth, there are books, courses, midwives, celebrations, most popular lists and blogs. However, at the end of a life, it goes quiet. Where do you turn? Meet the experts at '#Hashtag Death' - because conversations about death and dying SHOULD be trending.

Georgia and Amanda explore what it’s like to be a carer. They’ve dragged Amanda’s non-sexual life partner Michelle Willoughby into the fray as the resident expert. Michelle shares her experience as a carer and her work for Neighbourhood Community Houses Victoria.
Michelle has lived experience as a carer. Her mother lives with Huntington’s disease. Huntington's disease is a rare, inherited disease that causes the progressive breakdown (degeneration) of nerve cells in the brain. Huntington's disease has a wide impact on a person's functional abilities and usually results in movement, thinking (cognitive) and psychiatric disorders.
Medications are available to help manage the symptoms of Huntington's disease. But treatments can't prevent the physical, mental and behavioural decline associated with the condition.
Amanda also interviews a carer in her life and resident expert Michelle Willoughby says pertinent things while Georgia and Amanda are busy bringing the tone down.
