All team meeting doesn't yield a win after a great start and good relief pitching in Nick Nastrini's debut. Nick and Danny are somehow not at the end of their ropes. So many things have gone wrong, but they somehow soldier through it and go over the Nastrini start, Jonathan Cannon coming up, and the optional stretching tweet that popped out earlier today.

On this interview edition of the FutureSox Podcast, Elijah Evans is joined by White Sox pitching prospect Sean Burke. After being a third round pick in 2021, Burke was one of the most impressive pitchers in the system in 2022 as he finished the season in Charlotte and finished the season with 137 strikeouts between three levels. Burke was shut down with a shoulder issue after pitching just nine games in 2023, but is currently rehabbing and looking to get back into Minor League action soon. He talks about his experience getting Tommy John in high school, college experience, and his growth since joining the organization. Then, he provides updates on his rehab progression and timeline before sharing thoughts on some of the young talents in the organization.

Ian Eskridge and James Fox broke down Charlotte's first full week and the other three's first weekend series on this episode of the FutureSox Podcast. A lot of good pitching performances on the farm from names like Cannon, Keener, and Eder. Also some big bat weeks from Wilfred Veras, Tim Elko, and Brooks Baldwin.
They dove into the White Sox trades this week (Jose Rodriguez to the Phillies, and Alex Speas to the Athletics). They also went into when it will be a good idea for the White Sox to stop the nonsense and start playing younger players.

Ian Eskridge and James Fox welcomed the PBP voice of the Winston-Salem Dash, Andrew Murphy, to the FutureSox Podcast to preview the upcoming 2024 season. They started off with Noah Schultz talk and moved to the rest of the staff, going in depth on quite a few of the starters. There is a ton of pitching in Winston-Salem, and a lot of quality arms, and they discussed a bunch of names.
On the positional side of things, Jacob Gonzalez was a "lightning rod" in 2023 amongst the fanbase, and there was talk about his upcoming season and what Andrew expects to see. Also they jump into Samuel Zavala and Andrew's interactions with him and the HUGE leg kick. They also jump into who you can expect to see getting major playing time at other positions.
They end the team talk with a bit of conversation on the revamped coaching staff under returning manager Guillermo Quiroz, and then hop into one of Andrew's passions in life: music.

Nick Murawski and Danny Miller are back for another Hot Takes & Heaters. The 2024 season has started, and somebody better tell Pedro and the boys FAST. They did a postgame for the White Sox first win. Crochet was dominant and the offense did just enough with RISP to get the job done. They also dipped into the early performances of some of the players including Shewmake, Moncada, and Eloy's injury.
