One of the most layered works of Rabindranath Tagore. It's an insightful journey into Bengali society in the early 1900s. The characters are all wildly different form each other and yet they are bound together by friendship and genuine love. I absolutely adore this novel.

An espionage thriller that is a race against time, set in the early 1940s . Henry Faber, a German spy has access to critical information that he needs to convey to his superiors. British Military Intelligence is hot on his trail. Faber ends up on a remote Sottish island, where Lucy and David are staying with their young son. These three people's lives come together in an explosive climax. Listen to this epidote and do drop a rating if you have enjoyed it.

My book recommendation might seem far removed from the Forgotten Book of today, but I feel there's a huge similarity at the core of both books.

Renee is the concierge of an exclusive apartment block in Paris, and Paloma is a 12 year old girl who stays with her parents in one of those apartments.
My book recommendation is the heartwarming story of Eleanor who will make her way into your mind.

A confluence of bad omens herald the coming of the Anti Christ on earth. The Omen by David Seltzer is actually a novelisation of the movie, with a lot more details incorporated into it. It's a racy, terrifying read.
My book recommendation for the day is another chilling thriller which is hands down the best one I have read.
