My guest today is Jelte Liebrand, Founder and CEO of UK based Savvy Navvy, a navigational app for boaters launched a few years ago and now with already 60,000 users across a variety of regions. Jelte is one of those people I just clicked with straightaway. He´s a smart and funny Dutchman, passionate about sailing and boating in general. He has an impressive professional background from Google in San Francisco, and he´s definitely a man on a mission to make a major challenge of boating much easier and more intuitive than the traditional offerings of today.

In our first episode, we sit down with Erik Wickgren, MD of Viggo Boats, a high end aluminum boat builder for year round recreational boaters, located in Öregrund Sweden. Viggo is known for its unique profile in the water and is able to maintain comfort and performance at robust cruising speeds. We discuss everything from the magic of boating in December in the Swedish Archipelago, being able to custom spec boats for his customers, to just getting nerdy about boat tech.
