En: Thursday evening.
He: יעל ואבי הלכו לשוק מחנה יהודה.
En: Yael and Avi went to the Mahane Yehuda Market.
He: האורות היו חזקים.
En: The lights were bright.
He: הומה אנשים וקולות.
En: The place was bustling with people and noise.
He: "בואי נקנה רימונים," אמר אבי.
En: "Let's buy pomegranates," said Avi.
He: הם התקרבו לדוכן עם רימונים יפים.
En: They approached a stall with beautiful pomegranates.
He: פתאום שמעו צעקות.
En: Suddenly, they heard shouting.

En: Two vendors started arguing.

En: Yael looked at Avi.

En: "What should we do?"
He: " שאלה.
En: she asked.

En: Avi thought for a moment.
He: "צריך להציע הצעה לכל מוכר," אמר.
En: "We need to make an offer to each vendor," he said.
He: הם ניגשו למוכר הראשון.
En: They approached the first vendor.
He: "כמה עולה התיק?
En: "How much for the bag?"
He: " שאלה יעל.
En: Yael asked.
He: המוכר הראשון הביט בהם.
En: The first vendor looked at them.
He: "חמישים שקלים," אמר בקול חזק.
En: "Fifty shekels," he said loudly.
He: אבי פנה למוכר השני.
En: Avi turned to the second vendor.
He: "ואתה, כמה עולה?
En: "And you, how much?"
He: " שאל.
En: he asked.
He: המוכר השני חייך.
En: The second vendor smiled.
He: "ארבעים שקלים," אמר בביטחון.
En: "Forty shekels," he said confidently.
He: יעל ואבי הבינו שיש תחרות.
En: Yael and Avi understood there was competition.
He: "נציע שלושים שקלים?
En: "Should we offer thirty shekels?"
He: " לחש אבי.
En: Avi whispered.
He: "ננסה," ענתה יעל.
En: "Let's try," Yael replied.

En: They stood in front of the two vendors and laid money on the stall.

He: "בסדר," אמר המוכר הראשון.
En: "Alright," said the first vendor.

En: "Take the pomegranates."
He: "הם חשבו שסיימו.
En: They thought they were done.
He: פתאום, המוכר השני התעקש, "לא, אני ייתן לרימונים גם עשרה גרם זיתים, אותו מחיר!
En: Suddenly, the second vendor insisted, "No, I'll also give ten grams of olives for the same price!"
He: "יעל ואבי הסתכלו אחד על השני.
En: Yael and Avi looked at each other.

En: It was turning into a serious battle.
He: "מה נעשה?
En: "What will we do?"
He: " שאל אבי.
En: Avi asked.
He: יעל חשבה במהרה.
En: Yael thought quickly.

En: "Let's ask if there are more discounts," she said with a big smile.
He: הם פנו לשני המוכרים.
En: They turned to the two vendors.
He: "יש הנחות נוספות?
En: "Are there any additional discounts?"
He: " שאלו.
En: they asked.
He: המוכר הראשון הנהן.
En: The first vendor nodded.
He: "אקבל עשרים וחמש שקלים," נכנע.
En: "I'll take twenty-five shekels," he conceded.
He: המוכר השני גירד בראש.
En: The second vendor scratched his head.
He: "עשרים שקלים וזה שלכם!
En: "Twenty shekels and they're yours!"
He: " צעק.
En: he shouted.
He: אבי פרש במהרה עשרים שקלים על הדוכן.
En: Avi quickly laid twenty shekels on the stall.
He: שני המוכרים עצרו ושקט השתלט.
En: Both vendors stopped and silence fell.
He: המוכר השני הוציא את התיק ונתן להם את הרימונים והזיתים.
En: The second vendor handed them the bag and gave them the pomegranates and olives.
He: יעל ואבי עזבו עם חיוך רחב.
En: Yael and Avi left with big smiles.
He: "זה היה הרפתקה," אמר אבי.
En: "That was an adventure," said Avi.

En: "Yes, but it was fun," agreed Yael.

En: They loved discovering hidden corners and ancient history.

En: They arrived at an old house about which many stories were told.

En: The building was full of dust and decayed, but that did not deter them.

En: The box was heavy, and a musty smell filled the air.

En: She opened the box and inside found old and unclear papers.

En: It was a journal written in unfamiliar handwriting.

En: The cover was made of dark leather and locked with an old lock.

En: "What is this?" asked Yaakov as he approached.

En: "It’s an ancient journal, let's listen carefully," replied Tamar, her hesitation evident.

En: "We need to open it!" said Noa excitedly.

En: They searched for the key but found no clue.

En: While looking, Tamar noticed a hidden corner in the wall.

En: The sun broke behind the glass towers of Tel Aviv. It was quite early in the morning, at a time when the city was still waking up. In the small, humble, and charming hummus restaurant located between modern commercial centers, bread sparked souls - a slice of a relationship system, perhaps the most Israeli one could find.
He: "חומוס שלך חסד. לא מאוזן כלל," תלונן אביב, מניח כף עגוגה על השולחן בבית החומוס.
En: "Your hummus is kind. Not balanced at all," Aviv complained, placing a spoonful on the table in the hummus house.
