Because it means they aren't your mortal enemy tyring to ruin your whole day.
And why you might want to reevaluate your anger at total strangers who are just trying to get by. Just like you are.

There isn't a prize for person who got the most tasks done and skipped rest.
No prize for cleanest house. Nor for perfect parent. And while there are prizes for most toned muscles, it's unlikely you're competing for that.
You don't need to do all the stuff. You need rest.
Not once a year on vacation. - if you even get any rest on vacation. You need it every day. Every week.
It's not a nice to have, it's a need to have.

Nobody wants to hear this - if you want to be more joyful, you need to meditate. You need to hear all the stuff your brain comes up with and you need to pick the flowers among the weeds.
To feel good, you need to think good thoughts. To think good thoughts, you need to know what you're thinking about first and then decide what to pay attention to.
To know what you're thinking about, you need to meditate.
It doesn't matter how you meditate. As long as you have space to hear your thoughts without reacting to them.

Skip self-love for now and maybe just working on not kicking the shit out of yourself?
You don't deserve the way you treat yourself. And the world isn't actually as craptastic as you imagine it is.
Focusing on the positive (yes, that all song) isn't just for weirdos in caftans at fancy retreats. It's what you need to do if you want to go from sad to happy. From muddling through to joyful abandon.
Nothing else changes until you change. And you don't change overnight. Patience, My Friend. Sometimes good things take time, and this is one of those times.
So take a deep breath and think the most truthful happy thought you can. Look at pretty things. Find the joy and the gratitude where you are.
It gets better if you let it. I'm rooting for you!

Do you trust yourself? To follow through on the promises you make...to yourself?
We keep our promises to everyone else but drop ours without a second thought.
Only that thought, the one that tells you that you didn't do what you said you would - that thought doesn't just disappear. After awhile, those thoughts add up and you lose confidence in yourself.
Let's work on those trust issues so you can believe in yourself again.
