The Honourable Tom Siddon served as a federal cabinet minister under four portfolios, helped create the Canadian Space Agency and Nunavut, and championed salmon conservation across BC. But those who knew him remember him most for how he treated people. He believed in others before they believed in themselves. Dan shares his memories of Tom. Rest in peace.

Since losing Bailey, Debbie has become the public voice of her family. Debbie has worked closely with MP Frank Caputo, who introduced Bailey’s Law, and has met with Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre to share her family’s experience directly. She recently testified before the Status of Women Committee, bringing Bailey’s legacy and her family’s grief into the national spotlight.
This episode explores Debbie’s journey, the systemic failures she has witnessed, and her family’s determination to make sure no one else suffers what Bailey endured.
