With the Wyld Hunt successfully on to Joktan's scheme to summon and assassinate Iolda, their "captured" Infernal decides now is a good time to drop the act and harvest as much blood for the summoning ritual as possible. The Circle debates on whether or not they should help the people trying to kill them in service of stopping a much greater evil. And, for that matter, how to stop him. Gnosis has a lot of backup plans, it turns out!
Aura duels her greatest opponent yet: someone as equally skilled on the battlefield as they are with wordplay! Let's see if she can disarm both of Gnosis's skillsets at the same time-it may be the only way to stop the conflict in any way approaching a peaceful resolution! Lythander learns why making an Abyssal your friend is possibly more dangerous than being their enemy, and almost gets the entire party (and the surrounding countryside) killed! Gavel has a very frustrating conversation with one of her bosses and runs afoul of the law! Exe is still around, somehow, and faces the most dangerous trial this entire story so far: being Spider's babysitter! General Malik has to prioritize which Anathema to go after first, and whether or not that list includes that Sidereal trying to order him around constantly! And speaking of Joktan, she might still have an ace-in-the-hole amidst all this nonsense!

With a few key victories already under their belt, the Circle enacts a clever scheme to expose Gnosis's trickery and (hopefully) end this war without further demon-attracting bloodshed. Surprisingly enough, however, the army of religious fanatics won't back down easily, and Joktan has horrifying backup plans in the wings to ensure she can still draw the war out for her win condition. Also, the April Fools day interlude was canon after all-now there's also Spider ('s comatose body) to deal with.
Lythander puts some valuable time aside to tend to his mushroom garden; in doing so, he almost gets everyone killed before the Wyld Hunt can do it! Gavel gets into a heated discussion with Exe on what to do with Spider, and somehow the joke episode edgelord robotman becomes the most reasonable member of the cast! Aura makes a big press conference to the Wyld Hunt to explain the Third Circle Demon thing, only for Joktan to hit her with horrifying countermeasures! But, in doing so, perhaps her mask will slip and reveal just how evil she and her actual endgoals are! And speaking of Gnosis, he might have an ace in the hole too!

The Wyld Hunt's latest strike is a surprise elemental hyperweapon out of nowhere! To prevent it from obliterating the Maw of Cecelyne, the Circle must duel Red Hand Rebirth, as well as find out how exactly Prasad made an entire attack iceberg in about an hour. Lythander faces his semi-daughter in solo combat and discovers just how powerful the oldest Liminal in Creation is. But can either of them overcome the greatest curse of all to eke out a victory: bad dice rolls?

Lythander breaks out his greatest stratagems yet: trying to prank (and thus face-steal) people who refuse to engage with his terrible bits! Gavel, to her chagrin, begins to cast warriors in Novari's rom-com play, and dives headfirst into another iceberg-this one made of intrigue and drama instead of ice and Essence! Aura runs headlong into Joktan's background schemes and has to prevent a second, more secretive superweapon from going off while being pelted with Second Circle Sorcery spells the whole time! The Wyld Hunt engages the Anathema in debate, and possibly some hidden assassination attempts to cut the war short! But, is everyone really after our heroes first and foremost? Or are ulterior motives at play, and for who?

After the Circle successfully repelled the Wyld Hunt's opening salvo of a giant robot, the gang learns that their mecha was the LEAST menacing part of the Prasadi forces! Dozens of Dragonblooded commanders, a Sidereal with terrifying mental prowess, and Lythander's Liminal daughter march to face the Ashen Ones. Can our heroes avoid repeating the bloodbath that happened the last time a Wyld Hunt this big marched out? Or have they finally met their multiple higher-Essence matches in this war for survival?

Gavel meets a perfect counter to her Infernal magics and has to scramble to respond to a nightmarishly powerful curse! The Wyld Hunt strikes! For their first strategem, they send an artillery warstrider and a gigantic army of birds! Trained in the art of war! With fantasy guns! Also a behemoth! And this is just the FIRST wave! Good thing our heroes have their own warstrider ready, because an anti-army weapon paired with all of the above spells serious danger for the Ashen Ones and their allies!
Aura proves that she isn't just a chosen of the Unconquered Sun: she's also quite the skilled mech pilot! You could almost call her a Lance-sorry, wrong game system! Gavel faces the greatest obstacle to her stratagems thus far: Lythander! Speaking of Lythander, he has a LOT of schemes of his own this time: some of which go well, and others which backfire horribly on everyone! Sky Sundering Shadow takes to the field, and the Circle is rubbing off on her, for good and for ill! Amir demonstrates why Solars are so freaking scary, and raises some major moral dilemmas in the process! And the hidden Sidereal makes her move, unleashing one of the deadliest tools in all of Yu-Shan's armories!

In the precious few hours before the Wyld Hunt's assault on the Maw of Cecelyne begins, the Circle and the Ashen Ones fire up all the contingencies built across the whole act. Difficult decisions are made regarding the warstrider and the Hearteater's bones, and a new presence at the eleventh hour kicks down the door to vex everyone. No matter how genuine and easy his offer seems, there's always a catch when dealing with another Infernal...
Lythander debates what is and isn't comedy with someone even more contratian than he is, and almost causes another Hearteater incident by complete accident! Gavel discovers that the Yozi and their servants can actually be super evil; hopefully she can channel the resulting frustration into her new acting career! Aura has to decide on who to put into the warstrider's cockpit! The entire cast gets to voice an army of demons; total chaos ensues! And the first of General Malik's forces are here, with a very pissed off (and very familiar) Dragonblooded hatchling leading the charge!

It's all in the episode title, honestly. The Wyld Hunt is officially on, and our heroes are not ready. Or, not ready yet, at least. In a desperate attempt to gather intel, Lythander takes flight to Prasad's garrison at Madara, to sabotage what he can and try to uncover their enemies' secrets. But can he do so in time to make sure the Ashen Ones and the Maw of Cecelyne survive the Hunt?Lythander encounters the one person in Creation who can counter his comedy shenanigans, and to survive her sinister magic he must make some difficult choices! Gavel gets on the phone with the Yozi's foremost expert in infrastructure to prepare for severe inclement weather! Aura concocts a bold plan to turn the elements against the element powered demigods: a plan so novel it might even work! Red Hand Rebirth finally shows up (sort of) and has a very one sided family reunion with dear old dad! The Wyld Hunt's general reveals the many skeletons in his closet totally unprompted! Act 3's finale starts here!

As one would expect, Arkenruins only get more dangerous the deeper in one goes! Deadly mold, crumbling masonry, and worst of all, even MORE vicious wildlife! And these ones are NOT open to being talked down like the last ones. Here's hoping the Relics the gang just found gives them the edge they need to make it to the next Piece of Pablo!
Mantrax is accosted by the most nefarious of the ocean's predators: a horse! Andre tries to re-enact the infamous ending of Old Yeller with a hellhound! Zaffir (and his player) turn the rules against both of the above to great effect! Ophelia's monkey friend does some sick stunts to get sweet, sweet loot! And Ohelia herself? She gets hit a lot in the ensuing fight! But there's still more violence to come, deeper in!

With Seven Obsidian Leopard's stubborn mind set into stone, the Circle has no choice but to evict him from their demense by force. It sure as hell isn't going to be easy to fight a Lunar elder. And his clones. And the armies of undead he can summon with but a moment's thought. And the grab bag of esoteric moon magics he's spent centuries mastering. But surely our heroes can prevail, right? Maybe, just maybe, they can, if only they can outperform him in ridiculous stunts.
Appropriately enough this involves Lythander getting into a massive necromancy beam struggle with his estranged mentor, as well as a debate on just how effective a shovel is as a weapon. Aura has a very bad time with another enemy that hard-counters her skillset and gets continually hammered with increasingly nasty curses! Gavel digs through Leopard's corruputed geomancy to scour any possible weaknesses: what she finds is quite unexpected! Nue reminds everyone why Full Moon Lunars are horrifying combat juggernauts! And Amir keeps panicking over his big screw-up from last time! Also about the Wyld Hunt barreling towards everyone, that too!

With the pirates thoroughly defeated, the gang interrogates them about their motives, and uncovers the tip of this proverbial iceberg and what sort of people are behind such brazen pillaging. But before we can deal with that, Green Hell Island awaits, in all its irradiated splendor! The Arkenruins are lousy with magitech runoff and it is NOT agreeing with the local wildlife! Even getting to the ruins is an adventure in and of itself!
Andre finally succeeds on a fishing roll and drinks deeply of the pelagian wisdom therein! Mantrax gets a side gig as a toymaker for the monkey community! Zaffir talks to basically the entire ecosystem, with very mixed results! Ophelia finally realizes how weird the rest of her temporary party is! Pablo almost gets skullnapped! And the whole gang almost dies several times before getting anywhere near the next dungeon!

As the group prepares for facing the Wyld Hunt, they seek to secure the biggest resource they can still claim: Lythander's hard-earned demense, currently contested by his mentor Seven Obsidian Leopard. In confronting him, the Circle learns just how far he's willing to go in bringing the Empire of Prasad down, and must walk a delicate tightrope between negotiating with a Contagion-era Lunar necromancer and trying to reclaim the land by force...

Aura finally meets her match in smooth-talking and learns some neat facts about local wildlife! Gavel finds another revolutionary scheme that crosses her line, and also gets cross with a familiar gazellecarp ghost! Lythander gets in a shouting match with his teacher and has an awkward phone call with his Solar Mate! Amir messes up, big time! And somehow, in spite of all Leopard's plots, an even greater threat appears on the horizon. Another, much more dangerous agent of Heaven is in the Circle's trail...

Turns out we can't even get to Green Hell Island proper without catching hell of our own from a pirate attack! It's an all-out brawl between our heroes (and Ophelia) versus our sinister stowaways, with all the tourist's way too expensive cargo up for the taking!
Andre does ruinous amounts of damage and does impressive stunts all across the battlefield! Mantrax uses the campaign's first Limit Break to dramatic and highly useful effect! Zaffir attempts to cheese the encounter, only for it to backfire horribly on him! Ophelia sends everyone to space! But who will come out in the lead of this KO count contest? We'll have to wait till the dust settles to tell!

With the Wyld Hunt visible in their future, the Circle now learns about their past: it's time for Aura's First Age ghost to reveal the truth about El Dorado. An Artifact rated, on the scale of 1 to 5...rank N/A. Now, the horrors of late antiquity, as well as the bloodbath that was the Usurpation, claw their way to terrifying modern relevance. But, maybe, just maybe, the gang can find a solution to the mechanism's millennia of torment to free those trapped within...

Gavel finally realizes why people were so angry with her prior incarnations, and drives some hard bargains with an old frenemy to gird against the Wyld Hunt! Lythander learns he's not the only one with time twisting magic in the neighborhood and has to cope with inadequacies of not being cool enough to hang at the table with other Celestial Exalts! Aura...well, in addition to all of the above with her First Age self, makes plans for a seaside vacation! Strawmaiden Janest rolls a horrifying amount of successes! Also, Seven Obsidian Leopard's messing with Lythander's demense becomes a big problem!

In a much needed moment of respite, everyone gets a chill episode today!...Or, at least, as close to that as you can get in the hectic, churning coastline of the Dreaming Sea. Even as the gang rests and recuperates from defeating Octavian, the Wyld Hunt begins to make itself known. The Tournament Arc comes to a close! Lythander vs Aura! In between the pulse-pounding final match comes some final backdoor politicking and intrigue with Novari, the demonic playwright Gavel called upon! Octavian gets tired of twiddling his thumbs and makes a dangerous suggestion for his upcoming duel with the Circle! And, yes, for real this time, the end of the tournament! The clock is ticking down on the Imperial forces catching up to our heroes, so it's a race against time to escape Pablo's Tomb with the Relict pirate himself in tow! Unfortunately, even after fleeing the automatons, the tomb's traps prove to be far more perilous! And even if we escape the tomb, can we truly run from the horrors of...living in a capitalist society?
Andre does a ton of acrobatic feats and uses lots of lateral thinking, but turns out to have a deadly weakness: fish! Mantrax rums themselves ragged over puzzles and flubs a lot of contingency rolls to just stumble through most of the ruins! Zaffir loses Dust on a bad bet and has questionable spending habits! Pablo...made this way more difficult than it should have been, honestly? But now, the overall arc for Ruin Runners becomes clear: finding the remainder of his Not One Piece...

It's the semifinals, and all that buildup comes to an explosive payoff in an extra long, double fight episode!
