Papa D keeps the train going with some more Women's Football action as we take a look at the latest results from the WSL blockbuster weekend. From the Top of Table clash between Man City and Chelsea at the Bridge, Liga F's El Classico to the top turvy North London Derby at The Spurs 🏟️ , we bring it all right at the palm of your hands.
We delve deep in the state of officiating in England and Europe as a whole as Liverpool get screwed out of the Merseyside Derby by a dubious penalty call to ramp up the pressure on PGMOL. Elsewhere Brighton continued their great start beating Westham at the Amex while Man United got back to winning ways in Midlands. The Villans got that first win at Villa Park with some late Ebony Salmon magic to break the Eagles hearts at the death.

In this episode, Papa D takes you through the concluded GW7 in the WSL with Chelsea, City and United maintaining their great start to the campaign with the former two bagging huge wins, Bompastor's girls beating Liverpool 3-0 away from home and a Bunny Shaw hatrick sinking Spurs at the Etihad while the Red Devils fight off a Villa onslaught to stay unbeaten, albeit drawing their 4th consecutive match. Meanwhile Arsenal looked a side renewed under Interim manager Renee Slegers and they thrashed Surprise Top 4 candidates Brighton 5-0 at the Emirates to set the tempo for their midweek UWCL clash with Juventus. The Hammers got their 1st win thanks to Vivianne Asseyi while Palace were set back by a late Hayashi strike to share the spoils in South London. The ardent gooner also unpacks a fruitful weekend in the Fantasy WSL as the mini league starts to take shape Hop aboard for some laughter and key insights in England's Top Women's Competition.

Resident women's football ambassador Papa D takes us through what has been a rollercoaster few weeks for the women's game.
From Man City's commanding performance against Barca to the Gunners collapse in Munich in the Champions League the action returned back home as things went from bad to worse for the North Londoners with a derby day defeat to Chelsea at the Emirates. Meanwhile Liverpool fell to a last ditch defeat thanks to a fine strike from Bunny Shaw to sink the Reds at Anfield as Man Utd made light work of Spurs as Bizet returned to haunt the Lily Whites setting up summer signing, Elisabeth Terland to her first pair of goals for United. Brighton continued to sparkle winning at Palace while Everton and Westham shared the spoils in Merseyside.
Join in as we dissect what has been a rough couple of weeks for the gunners, and in between all the storms and turbulence rocking North of the capital, manager Jonas Eideval handed his resignation just before their make or break UWCL tie at the Emirates + every result from matchweek 2 of the Champions League and a sneak preview of the last gameweek in the WSL before the October International break. Arsenal and City dominate the Team of The Year in the men's category while the 6 of Gareth Taylor's girls are joined by 3 Blues, Wubben-Moy and Grace Clinton in the XI of the Year. David Beckham and Fara Williams are honoured with the merit awards in what was a memorable night for English football.

For the first time this season, we have a full house as co-host GTG returns and the boys are joined in by Kiburi FC, Manchester United's very own, local rapper Ricky Crux (@ricardo_simiyu). The boys unwind and catch up before getting to the matter at hand, the FPL season 2024/25. First up Papa D, based on the last episode's promise, drops his side kick squad for the new season..The Taylor Gang. He goes over the XI and subs options drawing jeers and cheers alike from the boys as he explains the need of having two squads which attracts a bombastic side eye from Ricky Crux whose belief in monogamy only exists in theory as he's a known ladies man ☺. After Papa Ds lengthy display, the Bado Watoto rapper unleashes his team and sounds out a warning to Classic League winner, Man City's Ian "Sich" Kiara and the rest of his ambitions to reclaim his league title. .(Oh boy, here we go again,🙄 ) Despite the jest and pomp...he does have a formidable squad and with his awkward Saka captaincy on GW1 over the clear choive of Salah, he hopes to be a tough opponent but being a United man and based on his last season's perfomances, that remains to be an empty threat 😅😅. In the meatime, GTG has been drafting a "Mwaks" off of the two heavyweights squads and as we close the show, he pops up with his team dubbed Getting That Guap...for real. 🫣. He has properly done his assignment and banks on a couple of differentials including The Croydon de Bruyne aka ESR and some seasoned popular figures such as Salah, Saka and Haaland.
