  • My guest today is Maisie Lovett. Maisie Smith Lovett is a trauma healer and holistic wellness mentor for high-achieving women who look successful on the outside but feel disconnected, depleted, or stuck in survival mode on the inside. She helps women decode what their symptoms are really saying—whether that’s chronic fatigue, gut and hormone issues, weight that won’t budge, anxiety, or burnout, by addressing the emotional, nervous system, and energetic roots driving them. Her work bridges body-based healing, emotional pattern release, and intuitive stress mapping so women can experience real relief without reliving the past or chasing endless protocols. In this episode we discuss trauma healing, perimenopause, gut health, pelvic floor health, queen energy and inner child work.

    FB - https://www.facebook.com/maisieroi

    YouTube - https://music.youtube.com/@maisie.smith.lovett

In this episode you will learn:

    1. Why adding trauma healing to weight loss doubled her clients' results, and why every symptom your body is showing you has a story that no doctor is asking about — When Maisie integrated trauma healing into her wellness coaching, average results went from 10-20 pounds to 20-40 in the same time frame. One client lost 39.5 pounds in 12 weeks without working out once. The reason: every organ holds onto different traumas and emotions. Until you address what's underneath, you cannot out-exercise an emotional body at war with itself.

    2. How your body decodes unprocessed trauma as physical symptoms, and the stress mapping process Maisie uses to identify exactly where her clients are holding their stories — Tight shoulders, gut issues, hormonal imbalances, TMJ, thyroid problems, and even which side of the body symptoms appear on all carry emotional meaning most practitioners never ask about. Maisie's stress mapping process identifies where the body is holding on and why, without reliving past trauma. Name it, locate it, dissolve it. You heal that much faster when you can put a name to what your body is carrying.

    3. Why high-achieving women feel safest staying exhausted, and the one word that changes everything when "slow down" feels like failure — Staying busy keeps high-achievers from feeling what's underneath. "Slow down" triggers fear because it sounds like stopping. Maisie's reframe: soften. Slow your pace. Lessen the grip. Move through life fluid instead of braced for impact. The woman who learns to soften is actually more in control, and her body finally feels safe.

“I was personal trainer and have been for over 12 years, still hold my license today. " - 00:02:37

“I think the biggest lie, we're going to put it as the biggest lie that the industry says is, just do more." - 00:24:20

"That queen energy, that's the strongest piece on the chessboard. Fuck the king.” - 01:14:56

  • My guest today is Athena Brownson. Athena empowers audiences to navigate life’s challenges with grit, authenticity, and purpose. She teaches how to embrace change, build balance, and align your career and life with your values. Drawing from her journey, Athena inspires others to redefine success, build their "why," and cultivate the mindset needed to overcome adversity and achieve meaningful growth. In this episode we discuss professional skiing, lyme disease, real estate, chronic illness, mindset shifting and relational business.

    Website - https://athenabrownsonrealtor.com/

    IG - https://www.instagram.com/athenabrownsonrealtor_/

    LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/athenabrownsonrealtor/

In this episode you will learn:

    1. Why losing your identity can be the greatest gift you never asked for and what a pro skier with 15 surgeries in 10 years discovered only after she lost everything she thought she was — Athena went pro at skiing at 15, traveled the world, and thought skiing was her entire identity. When injuries forced her to retire at 24 she fell into a complete identity crisis. What followed was the most important lesson of her life: there is a massive difference between what you do and who you actually are.

    2. What chronic Lyme disease, EMF sensitivity, and living in an off-grid RV taught a former elite athlete about surrender, listening to her body, and the difference between pushing through and giving up — Diagnosed with seven out of ten strands of Lyme plus every co-infection imaginable, Athena went from nonstop athlete to barely getting off the couch. EMF sensitivity then caused electrical burns from phone and computer use. She moved into an RV, wore lead gloves to use the internet, and needed plasma transfusions every other day to begin healing. Her truth: your body will make the decision for you if you don't listen first.

    3. Why your timeline is not supposed to look like everyone else's and the quantum leap reframe that changes everything about how you think about feeling behind — At 35, feeling like she'd lost a decade to illness, Athena was reminded that life doesn't move linearly. Quantum leaps can happen fast. The college-marriage-kids-house timeline was never meant to fit everyone. Burn it. Stay open. Your path looking different isn't a sign you're behind, it's a sign you're uniquely you.

“I learned how to ski when I learned how to walk. So I was just under two years old. " - 00:02:32

“You really have to do an analysis of everything that is incoming to you because we hold on to those things and our subconscious does." - 00:23:31

"Give yourself permission to be. Give yourself permission to show up in whatever capacity you're able to that day.” - 00:50:35

  • My guests today are Wendy Cohn-Osborne and Dr Lisa Piper. With over 30 years of combined experience in the legal, healthcare, and holistic wellness industries, Dr. Lisa Piper, Ph.D., DNM, and Wendy Cohn-Osborne are the visionary co-founders of CODE Health. Dr. Lisa, a Board-Certified Doctor of Natural Medicine, and Wendy, a seasoned entrepreneur in healthcare solutions and law, bring together a powerful blend of science, strategy, and soul. Their mission is to educate and empower individuals to be intentional with what they put on and, in their bodies, offering revolutionary therapeutics that provide safe, natural alternatives to traditional medications for both people and animals. Through CODE Health, they’re redefining wellness by merging biology, energy, and information medicine to support the body’s innate ability to heal and thrive.. In this episode we discuss frequency medicine, code health and the modern medicine cabinet.

    IG - https://www.instagram.com/codehealthshop

    https://www.instagram.com/drlisapiper

    https://www.instagram.com/wendyicohn

In this episode you will learn:

    1. Why a drop of saline solution backed by 40 years of molecular research is quietly redefining what a medicine cabinet looks like and why Einstein's prediction about frequency medicine is no longer the future, it's right now — CodeHealth was born from a COVID survival story and a biologist with over 200 patents who had never brought his work to the world at scale. One drop. No dosing by weight. Works for an infant, an adult, and a racehorse equally. This is frequency medicine and it's already here.

    2. Why the current healthcare system was never designed for true healing and what it looks like when a workers' compensation attorney and a PhD in natural medicine arrive at the same conclusion from completely different directions — Wendy watched injured workers get processed like numbers through a system that cared more about getting them back to work than actually healing them. Lisa watched cancer patients handed comfort cards filled with carcinogens. Both concluded the same thing: Western medicine treats symptoms, not people. Eastern and Western medicine have to hold hands.

    3. What makes a female business partnership actually work the trust, the zones of genius, and why praying for the right partner might be the most underrated business strategy there is — Lisa had been burnt badly by business partners before Wendy. She prayed, made a list of exactly what she needed, and Wendy walked into her hair salon chair and never left. Their framework is simple: whoever feels more strongly wins, if you're upset you hang up and come back, and you never stop having each other's backs.

“I got very sick with COVID and my father happened to be the neighbor to this brilliant biologist that created these molecular formulas." - 00:02:29

“What Lisa and I also talk about is the importance of taking small, incremental steps and changes." - 00:28:55

"Everybody wants everything and everybody wants it now. It's this Amazon Prime mentality and your health is not Amazon Prime.” - 01:08:52

  • My guest today is Jaskirat Kaur. Jas is a certified Life Coach from Mindvalley and is a published author of a Punjabi book ‘Roohaniyat’ that offers a spiritual perspective on life, death and everything in between. She is also one of the co-authors of English book ‘Spread your wings’ where her chapter is dedicated to the special needs moms. She is currently working on her third book ‘The mother heals first’ which is a self-healing guide for Autism moms. She recently got an opportunity to speak on stage in an event ‘Soul Mom talks’ in Vancouver and share her story of being an Autism mom. In this episode we discuss autism motherhood, advocacy, spiritual awakening, self-love and soul connection.

    Website - https://www.pickupsmiles.com

    IG - https://www.instagram.com/jaskirat_bajwa_dhillon

In this episode you will learn:

    1. Why a child’s autism diagnosis that felt like an interruption was actually the greatest spiritual awakening of a mother’s life and how choosing the path of growth over victimhood changed absolutely everything—Jaz was checking every box on the conventional life checklist, career, marriage, immigration, new country, new beginning, when her younger son’s diagnosis stopped everything cold. She describes two paths available in that moment: become the victim of your circumstances or ask what life is trying to teach you. Choosing the second path led her out of a decade-long software career, into herself, and eventually into a mission to support autism moms around the world.

    2. Why only a healed mother can bring healing to her children and what self-love actually looks like for a mother who is completely depleted, running on no sleep, and has no time left for herself—Jaz is direct about something most caregiving culture never says out loud: the energy you bring to caregiving matters more than the hours you put in. She shares practical, time-free ways autism moms can come back to themselves—from three conscious breaths to dancing while cooking—and makes a case that the greatest gift any mother can give her child is her own healing.

    3. Why autistic children are highly advanced souls and the profound spiritual reframe that shifted Jaz from seeing her son as a victim to recognizing him as her greatest teacher—Through the work of Dr. Brian Weiss and her own deepening spiritual practice, Jaz came to understand her son not as someone broken who needed fixing, but as a soul who chose her and who arrived to evolve her spiritually, reconnect her to the present moment, and remind her of who she truly is. She says everything she has become is because of him.

“I was born and raised in Northern part of India, Punjab, and I did what every the normal path that you would say you get into a good school, get degrees, and then get a good job, get married on time, have kids." - 00:02:20

“I think motherhood in itself, once a woman gives birth to a child, it's always an initiation." - 00:21:06

"I would say that, yes, motherhood is important. It's the most important role that you're playing right now. But your identity does not end and begin with motherhood.” - 00:57:16

  • My guest today is Dr Laleh Talebian. Dr. Laleh holds a bachelor's degree in Genetics and Food Biochemistry, a Ph.D. in Molecular & Cellular Biology from Dartmouth Medical School, and completed a post-doctoral fellowship on biomarkers for Cystic Fibrosis. She directed a clinical research lab on immunotherapy for blood cancers and served as Research Project Manager at The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy & Clinical Practice. She's completing certification as a Naturopathic Medicine Practitioner. In this episode we discuss cancer, cancer prevention, food as medicine, patient advocacy and the precision empowerment pathway.

    FB - https://www.facebook.com/drlaleh

    IG -  https://www.instagram.com/dynamicnaturaladvantage/

    LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/drlalehphd/

In this episode you will learn:

    1. Why losing her father to cancer at 15 turned a molecular biologist into a research scientist with a mission and why she walked away from the career she devoted her entire life to building—Laleh's father survived a surgery with a 4% chance of survival, only to die a year later, exactly 20 years before she became a cancer researcher. But the deeper she went into the system meant to save people like him, the more she saw a system that profits from keeping people sick rather than helping them heal.

    2. The number that will stop you in your tracks, 80% of chronic conditions, including cancer, are preventable and why that truth is uncomfortable for an entire industry built on long-term treatment instead of permanent solutions—Laleh pulls back the curtain on what she calls the sick care system, where pharmaceutical companies, insurance companies, and even food manufacturers all profit from people staying dependent on medication rather than getting healthy. She explains why there is no financial incentive anywhere in the system to get people off treatment for good.

    3. Why food prescriptions, not pharmaceuticals, are at the center of her Precision Empowerment Pathway Method and the real story of a client who came off seven of his eight medications and lost 70 pounds—Laleh applies the same targeted therapy approach she used in cancer research, identifying a disease marker and targeting it precisely, but replaces pharmaceutical drugs with personalized food prescriptions based on each person's unique biology. She is clear that her role is not to fix people, but to hand them the tools to become their own expert and take back control of their health.

“The very, very first memory, actually, now that you ask that question is my grandfather died of cancer. Maybe I was about seven or eight years old." - 00:02:20

“People need to know that they do have control and they do have options." - 00:36:10

"I say that make food, your medicine, once and all the time.” - 01:03:24

  • My guest today is Diana Bejasa. Diana travels the country and the world, helping men and women in executive positions overcome adversity and cultivate sustainable work-life balance, both personally and professionally. She shares proven, reliable, and repeatable techniques - including manifestation and energy psychology - to help them reduce stress, reclaim energy, and achieve peak performance with immediate, sustainable results.. In this episode we discuss nervous system optimization, the pizza topping analogy, EFT, time/energy focus and presence.

    IG - https://www.instagram.com/dianabejasaspeaks

    LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/diana-bejasa/

In this episode you will learn:

    1. Why “hard work equals success” is a lie we've all been conditioned to believe and the moment surviving 9/11 as a high schooler two blocks from the World Trade Center rewired what Diana believed actually mattered—Through multiple catalyst moments, surviving 9/11, watching colleagues lose everything in the financial crisis, waking up with a bald spot from stress while opening nine restaurants in one day, and an unplanned pregnancy that arrived with divorce papers, Diana kept circling back to the same realization: hustle alone was never the missing piece. Alignment was.

    2. The pizza topping analogy that completely re-frames how to think about priorities and why overloading your life with every “good” thing leaves you either burnt out on top or raw and falling apart at the foundation—As a former chef, Diana sees life through the lens of food. Pile every topping onto a pizza and one of two things happens: the top cooks while the bottom burns, or the bottom stays raw while nothing on top finishes properly. She uses this to teach high performers how to identify their true priorities instead of trying to carry everything at once.

    3. 1.   What it actually means to lead through presence instead of performance and how being diagnosed with complex PTSD became the unexpected key to meeting herself exactly where she is, instead of where she used to be—Diana's word for the year is “present” in every sense of the word. Leading through performance means chasing enoughness through achievement. Leading through presence means working with the real ingredients available right now, including a brain reshaped by trauma, instead of wishing for last season's version of yourself.

“First was surviving 9-11 when I was a child. I was a student in high school, went to school two blocks away from the World Trade Center, and I was in my senior year." - 00:02:49

“Being in the business world, I think it is a lot of this very male-dominated alpha force energy, like what we were talking about with hustle culture earlier." - 00:22:33

"I created this time energy focused journal, it's part of what I call the time energy focus system.” - 00:54:13

  • My guest today is Elisabeth Carson. Elisabeth Carson is a global speaker, entrepreneur, and founder of Enhanced Flow, a movement helping people rebuild their lives from the inside out by aligning mind, body, and soul. Her work bridges neuroscience, trauma healing, emotional mastery, and biohacking, uniting science and spirituality through lived experience and personal transformation.. In this episode we discuss healing, the mirror method, neurofeedback, biohacking, consciousness and purpose.

In this episode you will learn:

    1. Why losing everything twice in one lifetime taught Elisabeth that life happens FOR you, not TO you—From a teenage drug binge that left her brain inflamed, to jail, to walking her newborn's father into prison, to having her company and reputation publicly dismantled not once but twice as an adult, Elisabeth has rebuilt from rock bottom more times than most people face in a lifetime. Each collapse became fuel rather than the end of her story.

    2. Why addiction doesn't look like what you think it looks like—and the brutally honest truth about being a high-functioning party girl while still being completely addicted—Elisabeth was modeling, acting, and partying with celebrities, never the person living on the street, but she's clear that doesn't mean she wasn't an addict. If you need a substance to feel a certain way because you can't create that feeling naturally, that is an addiction, whether it's alcohol, scrolling, shopping, food, or a relationship.

    3. What the Mirror Method is and how a simple four-step process can rewire judgment, trauma patterns and old wounds in real time, in seconds, as you move through your day—Elisabeth's self-developed framework walks through realizing a judgment in the moment, finding its root through a body scan, reprogramming the wounded part of yourself underneath it, and then taking an action step that seals the new pattern into reality before the brain reverts to old programming.

“For the first time, when I was 19 years old, I experienced neural feedback and that was after a very long drug binge." - 00:02:43

“Sovereignty for me, it really means freedom within my own world to create and pay attention to and have in my energetic sphere exactly what I want." - 00:40:20

"What if that painful thing that you've been running from your whole life, what if your purpose was inside of that pain?” - 01:20:53

  • Brad Walsh is an International Speaker, Soul Visibility Guide, podcast host/producer, photographer, and #1 International Best-Selling Author who helps women step into their power and men become compassionate leaders. Through Empowerography, a Top 1.5% Globally Rated Podcast, he has held space for 800+ conversations with extraordinary women, creating a movement to EMPOWER, ELEVATE, and EDUCATE voices around the world.

I would like to personally welcome you to Brad's Corner, a new series under the Empowerography Podcast umbrella, a space where I share raw reflections, personal insights, and the lessons I've gathered from the incredible women I've had the honor of interviewing.

In Episode 7 of Brad's Corner, in honor of Men's Mental Health Month, I step away from amplifying women's voices for a moment to talk about something that has been sitting on my chest for weeks. A close friend of mine opened up to someone he was trying to build something with—and she ran the other way. That moment cracked something open in me. Because his story isn't rare. It's the story of millions of men who are told to be strong providers and vulnerable partners at the same time, and then punished the moment they actually try to be both. This episode is about the silence that is killing our men, the numbers behind that silence, and what happened when I posted about it publicly and almost no men responded at all.

    This episode explores:

    •     Why a friend's heartbreak after opening up emotionally exposed a painful double standard men are facing today

    •     What happened at the Empowerography Live men's panel that completely shifted the energy of the entire conference

    •     The real numbers behind men's mental health suicide rates, treatment rates, and the number one reason men give for not seeking help

    •     Why men's pain rarely looks like sadness and what it actually looks like instead (irritability, anger, withdrawal, overworking)

    •     What happened when I posted about this publicly and the deafening silence from men that proved the entire point

    •     Why this work has to start with our boys, long before the world teaches them otherwise

    •     Why supporting men doesn't compete with amplifying women, it walks right alongside it

    Key Insights:

    •     Men are told to be the strong provider and the vulnerable partner at the same time and then punished the moment they choose vulnerability

    •     Men die by suicide at nearly four times the rate of women, and less than half of men struggling with mental illness seek any treatment at all

    •     We have raised generations of men to believe silence and stoicism is strength and that belief is literally killing us

    •     Vulnerability is not the opposite of strength. It is strength

    Key Message:

To every man listening: you are not weak for struggling. You are not broken for feeling things. No human is broken—we just need help, support, and guidance. You are human, and that's all this is. To everyone else: please check on your men. Not the surface level “hey, how are you,” but the real question, the one where you actually wait to hear the answer. Supporting men doesn't take away from amplifying women. It walks right alongside it. We cannot do this alone, not as all the women and not as all the men. We are meant to do this together, as human beings, for our men, for our boys, and for all of humanity.

"That silence is costing us men everything" - 00:03:43

“Vulnerability is not the opposite of strength. It is strength” - 00:11:56

"To every man listening to this episode right now, I want you to know you are not weak for struggling" - 00:12:30

  • My guest today is Julie D'Ann. As an Illumination Guide, Transformational Life Coach, Inspirational TEDx Speaker, and International Bestselling Author, Julie is passionate about inspiring others to connect within to achieve calm confidence despite any chaos happening in the world. Getting meditation taught in schools and bringing life-changing practices into homes and classrooms is Julie's mission. In this episode we discuss breath work, mindfulness, meditation, gratitude, parenting and our children.

In this episode you will learn:

    1. Why a classroom evacuation became the spark for a movement and how something as simple as breathing could rewire the way an entire generation handles big emotions—When Julie's daughter came home and said her class had been evacuated because a child couldn't regulate their emotions, it broke Julie's heart wide open. She realized that child didn't need to be isolated, they needed someone to breathe with them. One simple tool, available to every single child, could have changed the entire outcome.

    2. Why the entire education system needs to be burned to the ground and rebuilt from the foundation up and what it would actually look like if children were taught through joy, storytelling and co-creation instead of compliance—Julie and Brad don't hold back on this one. The current system was built to create obedient workers, not thriving humans. A reimagined education would honor silence and stimulation equally, treat every child as intrinsically valuable from day one, and replace rigid, forced curriculums with curiosity, storytelling and real human connection.

    3. What illumination really means and the three simple daily practices that build calm, confident kids and calm, confident parents—Julie believes we are all light beings covered by layers of conditioning, and illumination is simply removing what is shading that light. She shares her three foundational practices—deep breathing, gratitude journaling, and consciously choosing better thoughts—that any parent can start using today to shift the entire emotional climate of their home.

“Anybody can connect through their breath, anybody can learn how to calm the body." - 00:03:43

“I think, at the foundation of education is you have to understand it's all two sides of the same coin." - 00:27:49

"We are all connected and we are here, not just to survive, we are here to thrive, to live better lives.” - 00:54:20

  • My guest today is Dana Diaz. Dana S. Diaz is a bes-tselling , award-winning author and global speaker and podcaster. Her memoir trilogy, GASPING FOR AIR, CHOKING ON SHAME, and RISING FROM THE ASHES, was inspired by her lifelong experience with abuse and domestic violence and the healing journey she was led on as a result. Dana has been featured on nearly 300 podcasts worldwide, holding the rank of #1 Most Popular Podcast Guest worldwide in 2024, according to Podmatch.com. You may have also seen her on NBC Chicago and on the main stage of the Ultimate Women's Expo in Chicago. Her emotional intelligence and relatability resonates deeply with attendees of women’s empowerment and wellness conferences, as well as participants in the healing workshop for women she co-leads. In this episode we discuss narcissistic abuse, generational trauma, trauma bonding, shame, forgiveness and self-awareness.

In this episode you will learn:

    1. How 40 years of chronic stress and an abusive marriage attacked Dana's body until doctors discovered her own white blood cells were destroying themselves — After years of unexplained symptoms, blackouts, and a rare lung condition, doctors finally named it: decades of fight-or-flight cortisol. The moment her abusive husband moved out, every symptom vanished instantly. A switch flipped.

    2. Why healing requires brutal accountability, not for the abuse, but for the choice to stay and why that distinction is the most uncomfortable truth Dana teaches — Nobody is ever to blame for how they're treated. But Dana is clear she had the power to leave at any point in her 25-year marriage. Recognizing that choice wasn't self-blame — it was the discovery of her own power.

    3. What shame actually steals from women and the "bag of potatoes" metaphor Dana uses to teach people how to stop carrying other people's trauma — Shame is someone else's unhealed trauma dressed up as your fault. Dana pictures everyone's shame as heavy bags of potatoes she was never meant to carry. The moment she set them down, she stopped sabotaging her own future.

“Who was Dana? Dana, I'm not sure she even knew who she was. Dana, to give the short version of the long story, Dana was born to an unwed teenage mother back when it wasn't okay to be born to an unwed teenage mother." - 00:02:22

“The part of healing that's scary is taking accountability, I think. I always say the first step in healing is self-awareness." - 00:29:02

"Shame steals your freedom.” - 01:16:18

  • My guest today is Ana Pashyanti. Ana Pashyanti shares meditation and energy healing practices to empower others to heal and dissolve what stands in the way of their true inner peace and joy. So now she guides others on their paths of healing and awakening into that limitless horizon of possibility we call the human potential. In this episode we discuss awakening, meditation, energy healing, boundaries and trauma recovery.

    Website - https://www.anapashyanti.com/

    LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/ana-pashyanti/

    YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/@AnaPashyanti

In this episode you will learn:

    1. Why everything in your life has to collapse before you can truly discover who you are and why hitting ground zero is not the end of your story but the sacred beginning of it — Ana spent decades ignoring her inner voice and giving her power away until she had nothing left, no home, no plan, no direction. It was only sitting at her parents' kitchen table with nowhere to go that she asked herself for the very first time: what do I actually want? That one question and the answer that came back immediately, changed her entire life forever.

    2. Why not having boundaries isn't kindness — it's self-destruction and what happens when you spend a lifetime believing that saying yes to everyone else is what makes you a good person — Ana believed that a truly good person would choose self-sacrifice every time. That belief cost her everything. It led her into a situation where she was brainwashed, held against her will, and locked in an apartment by an abusive partner who threatened her family when she tried to leave. The most devastating truth she had to face afterward was that her self-sacrifice hadn't helped anyone. It had enabled them. And it had almost killed her.

    3. How to stop blocking your own healing — the difference between repressing your emotions and actually feeling them and the practice that begins to dissolve everything stored in your body that has been weighing you down for years — Ana teaches that the biggest lie we tell ourselves is that we are broken and need to be fixed. We are not broken. We are diamonds with density dimming our light. The path is to consciously go into the darkness, welcome it, and allow it to transmute. Emotions that are not felt get stored in the body as disease. Emotions that are felt and allowed to move through you become energy you can use to build an entirely new life.

“I finally, for the first time in my life, sitting at that kitchen table, staring into the bleak nothingness of that dreary February day, I finally, for the first time, asked myself, what do I really want?" - 00:04:44

“A lot of us come into this life, if you ask me, even before coming to this life, we come in here thinking that we have to suffer in order to learn." - 00:21:18

"You are not only connected to source, you are a source.” - 00:40:35

  • My guest today is Lynn Reckamp. Lynn Reckamp is the Executive Director of Holiday Heroes, where she channels her passion into bringing joy and comfort to pediatric patients—work that truly lights her up. A proud mom of four amazing young adults, Lynn thrives on adventure, whether it’s hopping on a plane to somewhere new, strolling through a farmers market, or soaking up the sun near the water.. In this episode we discuss holiday heroes, social impact, joy, laughter as medicine and kindness.

    Website - https://www.holiday-heroes.org/

    IG - https://www.instagram.com/holidayheroesfoundation/

    LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/company/holidayheroesfoundation/

In this episode you will learn:

    1. Why joy is not just a feeling but a healing force and the science-backed proof that spreading joy to sick children literally changes their vital signs—At a Holiday Heroes hospital party, a nurse pulled Lynn aside during a bedside visit and showed her something extraordinary on the heart monitor of a nonverbal, critically ill child. When Cinderella began singing, the little girl’s dangerously elevated heart rate dropped—and by the end of the first song it had returned to exactly where it was supposed to be. Lynn had to walk away because she was so overwhelmed. You cannot argue with a heart monitor. Joy heals.

    2. What it means to lead when your currency is not profit but presence and how the most powerful thing you can offer another human being costs absolutely nothing—Lynn walks into rooms where parents have been sitting bedside for weeks, terrified and exhausted, and her team’s entire mission is simply to bring a moment of joy. No invoice. No pitch. No agenda. Just presence. A dad standing six foot six breaks down in tears watching his bald daughter dance with a costume character. A grandmother chases Cinderella down a hospital hallway to say “you gave us a smile and a memory we will never forget.” That is what leadership without ego looks like.

    3. The one truth that changes how you see every stranger you pass on the street and why empathy is not optional but the most important practice we can build into our everyday lives—Lynn has watched parents walk out of hospital oncology units and disappear into the busy streets of Chicago, and no one around them has any idea what they just left behind. She says the most important thing this work has taught her is that you never truly know what someone else is going through. The person who cuts you off in traffic, the stranger who seems cold or rude—they could be carrying something unimaginable. So be kind. Give the compliment. Smile. Pay for the order. It costs you nothing and it could change everything.

“Holiday Heroes is a non-for-profit and our mission is so sweet and simple. We spread joy to pediatric patients and we do this by going into these hospitals and we throw parties for the kids." - 00:02:54

“I think that even little, we bring joy to these kids and even if it's just 10 minutes of joy, I think what joy means is it gives you a break from stuff that's not joyful and not happy and the bad stuff, the sickness, the illness." - 00:22:53

"I just think in general, people are good.  Even people, everyone has bad days, but in general, people are just good.” - 00:39:15

  • My guest today is Nancy Lynne Griffin. Nancy is a connector and influencer. She attributes her success to personal courage, determination, and joy, when focusing on women’s health and wellness, hence creating Women,Worth & Wellness®. Nancy enjoys every opportunity to inspire and inform women about their personal health and wealth, net worth and self-worth, philanthropy and legacy—so that women feel fabulous, generous, joyful, confident, and on top of their game every day. Nancy Griffin established Women, Worth & Wellness in 1994 as a Private Client Wealth Advisor for her female clients and their families. In this episode we discuss women worth and wealth, health as a priority, menopause, being respectfully selfish.

    YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCODT3IoUJsg0HEDx1zMQRHA

    LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/company/womenworthandwellness/

In this episode you will learn:

    1. Why your health is your number one asset and how owning it completely transforms not just your body but your confidence, your wealth, and every single relationship in your life—Nancy’s mother told her from a young age that without your health you have nothing, and after over three decades building Women, Worth and Wellness, she knows it to be absolutely true. When women stop putting everyone else first and start treating their own health as a AAA1 priority, something shifts. They show up differently. They glow. And the ripple effect of that single decision touches every corner of their lives, their finances, their families, their freedom.

    2. What “respectfully selfish” and “respectfully aggressive” really mean and why reclaiming these words is one of the most powerful acts of self-worth a woman can perform—For too long women have been conditioned to shrink, defer, and put themselves last out of fear of being called selfish or aggressive. Nancy flips both of these words completely on their head. Being selfish means making yourself a priority so you can show up as your best for everyone else. Being aggressive means stepping up, speaking out, and refusing to back down when the world tries to cut you down. When someone called Nancy aggressive, she said thank you and meant it.

    3. How the Tall Poppy Syndrome operates in corporate spaces—and the one strategy that defeats it every single time—Born in Australia, the Tall Poppy Syndrome describes what happens when high-achieving women are recruited into organizations and then quietly targeted by those who feel threatened by their presence. The playbook is always the same: make it uncomfortable enough that she leaves on her own. Nancy’s counter-strategy is equally simple and devastatingly effective, don’t give up, don’t back down, don’t disappear. Stay, find a way to get along, and sooner or later the people trying to cut you down will realize they cannot bring you down.

“As I started to work with women, you just get this whole aspect that your first priority is your health before you even get to your wealth. " - 00:06:13

“I think willingness to choose herself is wellness." - 00:36:06

In Episode 6 of Brad's Corner, I talk about something I've witnessed in conversation after conversation with women in their 50s and older. Something profound. Something that makes everyone around her uncomfortable. Something that's often misunderstood as a midlife crisis when it's actually a midlife clarity. I'm talking about the moment when a woman stops apologizing for who she is. When she stops people-pleasing, stops making everyone else comfortable, stops shrinking herself to fit into expectations that were never hers to begin with. And everybody around her, her partner, her kids, her friends, her colleagues, looks at her and thinks, "What the hell happened to the old version of her?" But here's what they're missing. She didn't disappear. She didn't go anywhere. She's actually just arrived.

    This episode explores:

What midlife clarity really looks like (and why it's not a crisis, it's a remembering)The shift that happens when a woman stops living for everyone else and starts living for herselfWhat this transformation looks like in real life (boundaries, truth-telling, unapologetic living)Why everyone around her freaks out (and what their discomfort is really about)The return to the divine feminine (powerful, creative, intuitive, unapologetic)A message to the men: How to meet her in this transformation instead of resisting itThe four things men need to do to support the women in their lives through this shift (get curious, stop trying to fix her, grow with her, celebrate her)

    Key Insights:

She's not having a crisis, she's having a breakthrough, a remembering of who she was before the world told her who she needed to beThe discomfort others feel isn't about her, it's about them losing the version of her that made them comfortableThis transformation is a return to the divine feminine: powerful, creative, intuitive, and unapologeticIf you're not willing to grow with her, you're going to lose her, not because she's selfish, but because she is finally choosing herselfYour job is not to fix her, manage her, or get her back to "normal", your job is to meet her where she's at with curiosity, growth, patience, and support

    Key Message:

If you're a woman in your 50s going through this shift, you are not selfish. You are not broken. And you are certainly not having a crisis. You are waking up to who you truly are. Your job is not to make them comfortable. Your job is to become who you have always been beneath all those layers of conditioning. If you're a man whose partner, mother, sister, or friend is going through this, stop resisting it. Stop trying to get the old her back. She's not coming back. And that is a good thing because the woman she's becoming is the one who was always there. She's just done apologizing for it. Meet her there with curiosity, growth, patience, and support. If you can do that, you will witness one of the most profound transformations you have ever seen. It's not a midlife crisis. It is a midlife rebirth. And that is an absolutely beautiful gift.

  • My guest today is Dr Pauline Crawford. As a visionary British leader, Dr. Pauline Crawford is the Founder and Chief Vision Officer of Corporate Heart International, Past President of the Rotary Club of Global Impact, and Program Director for the International University of Entreprenology. Additionally, she holds the esteemed position of G100 Global Chair for Authentic Harmony & Positive Masculinity. Dr. Crawford is recognized as an accomplished international speaker and author of "The Power of Authentic Harmony." In this episode we discuss gender dynamics, authentic harmony, re-architecting systems, equality and lighthouses.

    Amazon Books - https://www.amazon.com/Power-Authentic-Harmony-Conversations-Transforming/dp/1959471015/

In this episode you will learn:

    1. Why the conversation has to shift from equality to harmony and what “Say goodbye to equality, hello to harmony” actually means for the future of men and women in leadership—After over a century of fighting for equality, Pauline argues the framework itself has become a barrier. Equality asks women to fit into a system built by men, while harmony invites everyone to co-architect something entirely new one that honors the full spectrum of human differences, from gender to generation, as magnificent rather than problematic.

    2. What gender dynamics intelligence is and how the four archetypes; Ruler, Philosopher, Sovereign, and Magician can revolutionise how we understand ourselves, lead others, and navigate conflict—Born from 30-plus years of observation, Pauline’s framework maps masculine and feminine energy across four archetypes. When understood as a reference point rather than a label, this map helps individuals identify their natural strengths, understand why certain relationships create friction, and build the kind of complementary teams that function like a well-tuned orchestra, where every instrument matters and none leads alone.

    3. How to become part of the solution right now and why pausing, observing, and being intentional are the first three acts of anyone who wants to build a more harmonious world—Pauline’s invitation is not complicated: pause before reacting, get intentional about who you are and what you bring, and start having the conversations that most people are too scared or conditioned to have. Whether it’s in a boardroom, a classroom, or a kitchen, harmony is built one willing conversation at a time and the world is desperately ready for them.

“I've always been kind of like a connector, like there's a lighthouse in the middle. " - 00:04:33

“The idea of gender dynamics intelligence came from my own experience way back as a young woman." - 00:39:59

"Always remember that the conversation is between you and somebody else.” - 01:07:08

Today, I serve multiple missions: As CEO of Together Digital, I lead a platform that empowers 500+ women in digital and tech through strategic networking and community building. As an executive coach, I guide creative leaders and entrepreneurs to lead with authenticity, helping them navigate the intersection of innovation, purpose, and operational excellence. In this episode you will learn:

    1.   Why the entrepreneurial spark never dies and how going back to your eight-year-old self is the truest measure of success—Amy grew up creating planeteer clubs and summer camps in a small trailer park in Ohio, already wired for community and entrepreneurship. After decades of conditioning, corporate paths, and self-doubt, it wasn’t until she found Together Digital in her late 30s that she remembered who she’d always been—and realized that eight-year-old Amy would be proud.

    2.   What authentic leadership really means beyond the buzzword and why “executive presence” is just veiled feedback telling you to be someone else—Amy breaks down why true leadership isn’t a performance. It requires self-awareness, humility, and vulnerability—not a polished image. When she’s had to navigate layoffs, company sales, and hard transitions, showing up with radical transparency is what built the deepest trust, even earning thank-yous from people she had to let go.

    3.   Why women won’t be replaced by AI but will be replaced by women who know how to use it—and the biggest revolution waiting in digital and tech—With AI rapidly replacing mid-tier roles where women are disproportionately concentrated, Amy argues the revolution isn’t just about learning the tools—it’s about embracing a constant-learner mentality, using AI responsibly and creatively, and leveraging the distinctly human qualities no algorithm can replicate: original connections, breakthrough ideas, and the creativity that comes from rest, not relentless productivity.

“Entrepreneurship is a choice and you choose to show up no matter how hard it gets. " - 00:05:15

“Courage comes through action. You don't gain courage." - 00:35:01

"Only you can do you and no one's going to do it for you. You have to really just find your own path.” - 01:11:07

After transforming her own relationship with money, safety, God, and purpose, Lindsay now teaches others how to rewire the patterns holding them back so they can create emotional peace, spiritual alignment, and financial overflow — without the hustle, doubt, or fear. Her work centers on the belief that abundance is your birthright, your nervous system is the gateway, and alignment with God transforms everything. In this episode we discuss STEERS framework, god-aligned abundance, grief, purpose and nervous system regulation.

In this episode you will learn:

1 Why grief became the catalyst for the biggest leap of faith and how surrendering to God opened a completely different view of life—Six weeks after giving birth to her third child, Lindsay's mom was diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer and given 12 months to live. In that moment, on her knees in prayer, Lindsay chose: either sit and wallow in depression and anger, or cling to Christ and look for the opportunity God was showing her and that choice changed everything.

2 How depression for 13 years wasn't a brain chemistry problem, it was a pattern problem, and why "maybe I just can't be happy" was the lie keeping her small—Lindsay believed for over a decade that she was just someone who didn't know how to be happy, that depression was her default. But through nervous system work, identifying patterns, and faith-led identity work, she discovered those beliefs were priming the reality she was experiencing—and she could rewrite them.

3 What "your existence is your worthiness" actually means and why the unworthiness belief is the root pattern blocking money, purpose, peace, and abundance—The most common pattern Lindsay sees is people believing they're not worthy of success, love, joy, freedom, or money, usually instilled at a young age. But your worthiness isn't earned through achievement or perfection; you are worthy simply because you exist, no matter your background, sins, or mistakes.

“The catalyst moment for me though in that time, I was pregnant with my third and that business started to get put on the back burner because of that. The catalyst moment actually for me was unexpected. " - 00:02:42

“We will only ever have what we believe is possible for ourselves." - 00:24:19

"You are divinely designed with an intentional purpose on this earth. You were created from love.” - 00:52:40

In this episode you will learn:

1 Why self-abandonment becomes a survival pattern and how it shows up as perfectionism disguised as love—Victoria spent decades proving her worth through Ironman races and ultra-marathons, seeking external validation from narcissistic parents and partners who never gave it, until a massive download on a beach in Costa Rica told her: "You will never abandon yourself again."

2 How the "perfect life" from the outside can be a prison on the inside and what it takes to blow it all up—Living in Costa Rica's jungle near the beach looked idyllic, but Victoria was suffocating in an abusive relationship, following rules that were killing her soul, until breathwork cracked open the armor and she chose the hardest path: leaving the country, the relationship, and the illusion of perfection.

3 What midlife reinvention actually looks like when you stop performing and start living full-time in a van with your dog—After leaving Costa Rica, Victoria lived through 10 months of the darkest nights of her life, then chose radical freedom: living full-time in a Ram ProMaster van for 4 years, learning to trust her intuition, keep herself safe, and step outside society's expectations as a self-proclaimed "spiritual outlaw.

“So the first half of my life, this person, this woman, this human that was here on this earth, she adapted to survive. " - 00:02:48

“We're souls that have come into this human body and whether we have been here many different iterations and many more to come." - 00:32:13

"We all have different iterations of what love is, but it's this energy.” - 01:08:04

  • My guest today is Darlene Lekowski. Darlene Lekowski is a number one top selling author, speaker, advocate, but most importantly, a survivor.

Forced to hide the secret of her childhood trauma for more than fifty years, Darlene is now speaking out. Her message is one of resiliency and healing, and her intention is to use her voice to help others find theirs. In this episode we discuss sexual assault, sibling abuse, family trauma, survivor advocacy and speaking out.

In this episode you will learn:

Why sibling sexual abuse is the most hidden form of trauma and shockingly common—Darlene reveals that it's 3-5 times more common for an older sibling to abuse a younger one than parent-to-child abuse, with 1 in every 20-25 children in a classroom experiencing sibling sexual trauma right now, yet families bury it to preserve the "perfect image."How carrying shame from age 7 to your 50s doesn't just destroy your peace, it destroys your body—After decades of silence to protect her "Christian country club family," Darlene's suppressed trauma manifested as physical disease in her 50s, proving that what we bury doesn't disappear—it festers until we either tell the truth or destroy ourselves. What it takes to break a 40-year silence and why speaking the truth—even when your family rejects you, is the only path to freedom—Darlene finally told her story in her 50s, wrote a bestselling book, and now speaks globally about sibling sexual trauma, choosing to save herself and help millions of silent survivors rather than continue protecting the family that never protected her.

“At the age of seven, I was betrayed. I was betrayed by family members, which I'm sure some of your listeners can relate to. Brothers, my two oldest brothers, so I'm the youngest of five kids, my two oldest brothers sexually assaulted me from the ages of seven to 12. " - 00:02:18

“I hate that as victims, we are the ones that take on the shame." - 00:35:02

"It's never too late to tell your story. The silence is not yours to carry.” - 01:03:17

  • Brad Walsh is an International Speaker, Soul Visibility Guide, podcast host/producer, photographer, and #1 International Best-Selling Author who helps women step into their power and men become compassionate leaders. Through Empowerography, a Top 1.5% Globally Rated Podcast, he has held space for 80p0+ conversations with extraordinary women, creating a movement to EMPOWER, ELEVATE, and EDUCATE voices around the world.

I would like to personally welcome you to Brad's Corner, a new series under the Empowerography Podcast umbrella, a space where I share raw reflections, personal insights, and the lessons I've gathered from the incredible women I've had the honor of interviewing.

In Episode 5 of Brad's Corner, I share the most personal story I've ever told, the story of the two women who saved me, shaped me, and taught me what real strength looks like long before I ever picked up a microphone. My mom. My Nana. When I was 10 years old, my mom made the hardest decision of her life. She left my biological father after 15 years of marriage, after he had an affair. She packed up what little we could carry, just the clothes on our backs and moved us into a one-bedroom apartment across the street. She slept on the couch every single night. My brother and I shared a bedroom with bunk beds. And she didn't complain. She just did what needed to be done. She got a job as a part-time cashier at a grocery store after not working for 10 years. She raised two boys on that salary. She didn't just survive, she rebuilt. She modeled what true courage looks like. Not the loud, performative kind, but the quiet, relentless kind that gets you through the darkest days. My Nana didn't have to step in. She'd already raised her own kids. She'd earned her rest. But when my mom needed her, she showed up without hesitation, without complaint. She watched us while my mom worked. She held space for her daughter while her daughter rebuilt her life. That is what true love looks like, not grand gestures, but steady, consistent, unwavering presence.

    This episode explores:

The courage my mom showed (leaving, starting over, sleeping on a couch for years)The love my Nana gave (showing up without being asked, holding space, raising us alongside my mom)What they taught me about strength (it's not about never struggling—it's about getting up every day anyway)The permission they gave me to be human (at home, I could cry, feel, talk—I was allowed to be myself)The two worlds I lived in (at home = human, everywhere else = performing masculinity)Why I started Empowerography (to honor women like my mom and Nana who never had platforms)Key Insights:Real courage isn't loud, it's the quiet, relentless kind that gets you through the darkest daysTrue love isn't grand gestures, it's showing up even when it's hard, inconvenient, and you get nothing in returnStrength isn't about never struggling, it's about doing what needs to be done even when you don't feel like itEmpowerography exists to honor women like my mom and Nana who carried invisible labor and quiet strength that no one ever acknowledgedKey Message:

Honor the women who raised you, not just with words, but with actions. My mom and my Nana didn't just raise me. They taught me what strength actually looks like. Everything I do, this podcast, the work as a photographer, this mission, this platform, it's all because of them. They are my heart. They are the foundation for the entire Empowerography vision. If you were raised by women who fought for you, who sacrificed for you, who loved you unconditionally, honor them. Show up. Be present. Be honest. Above all else, be human. That is how we honor the women who raised us.
