Yes, I know mobility training isn’t as sexy as a heavy deadlift set. It doesn’t give you a pump. And it makes you feel like shit because you realize your hips are tighter than a nun’s you-know-what.
But you know what? Do it anyway. Your 80 year-old self will thank you.
-
Sharing my favorite metaphor to explain the difference between strength training & hypertrophy training and how they impact our muscular development. Not sure what the hell I’m talking about? Listen to this episode and then you will!

This episode shares THE most sustainable source of motivation to go to the gym and KEEP going week after week, year after year. And it’s got nothing to do with our bodies.
If you’ve been struggling to stay motivated then for the love of all things holy - LISTEN TO THIS EPISODE.
-
The gym you’re literally obsessed with… and probably haven’t even set foot in yet ❤️🔥
That’s all I’m gonna say. Just listen to the episode bc you NEED to know these things. Trust me. K love you bye 💜
-
This episode is about knowing we have agency in our bodies bc hell yes agency.
You wanna build a phat peach? You go get after it, friend. The beauty of training in the gym is that you can build whatever body feels like a true expression of you.
That might mean updating its shape or it might not. Doesn’t matter. What matters is that we know we have agency. We can make change in our bodies and out in the world. ya ya ya. Go build a body that feels like you and run for office.
-
This episode is about trying new things & being worried about looking dumb in the gym.
Bodies like variety, friends. Don’t worry about looking dumb when you try new things in the gym. Or do, it’s up to you, but still go try them anyway 😂
It’s normal to be worried about looking dumb in the gym. And in the world. We’re social creatures. We worry about looking dumb. That’s fine, but yanno… still go try new things anyway. In gym and life.
Try something new. Wander into the unknown. Have fun.K love you bye.
-
we back b!tch with a new format 🌸
and a very gym-focused vibe 🔥new episodes will be short + sweet. show notes even shorter bc you know what? life is short. ain’t nobody got time to sit around and write novels for show notes. well, some people do. and other people pay people to do it. but I am neither of those types of humans rn.
so I’ll probably write some silly show note like this one that isn’t optimized for seo at all. at least for now - for now we just recording episodes and putting them out into the world. maybe down the road I’ll be one of the people that pays other people to write novels for show notes.
this one is about failure in the gym.and why failure is such a good good thing in gym land. really it’s about failure in life, not just in the gym. and all those different types of failure are good good things. enjoy!
