    With over 30 years of mead-making experience, Laura's research is incredibly thorough. She's cataloged over 4000 historical mead recipes, recreated and tasted more than 100 of them, and her work goes beyond just recipes – she dives into the genetics of yeast, medieval abbey operations, and more, bringing historical context to life.

    Laura's impressive background includes training in Engineering and Biology from MIT and Northeastern University, alongside professional expertise in industrial fermentation and water treatment.   • Evan was sitting on the back porch, enjoying the morning sun and a big plate of pancakes when he suddenly had a craving for some Saturday mead! He thought to himself, "But what type of mead would be best?"
